OMG Riley, discovery of the CENTURY!!! Universal Palette Builder, thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😂💪💖 How can we thank you ENOUGH for your amazing dedication to educational descriptions, swatching, listing, timestamping, photos & videos 🥰🌈 Indie makeup brands totally rely on content creators to showcase their gorgeous shadows. So often brand photos don't do justice. As a makeup addict on a tight budget, you make it soooo much easier to choose 🙏🤩
This is the best video ever!!! I'm not as into collecting multichromes, but the Virgo in me is swooning over the detail and precision in this! Sooo... gratifying 🥴
I have a sizeable Clionadh collection, but there are a few SG shadows I have been on the fence about for years and so I have not bought them. Two of them are Grisaille and Carving. Everyone needs to know that I just added both to my to-buy wishlist because Riley said they're good and with it and they are in that spicy neutral category. I learned my lesson after buying Riley's entire collab with SBSD because I really wanted to support her, although I wasn't sure whether a couple shades in it would be a good fit for me. Lo and behold, those shades are some of my favourites from the collab. So now I am a simple woman. Riley tells me something is her recommendation, I get it.
Yes, I have started a notebook full of shades, shade names, brand, and quick descriptions. Good job teacher! This is one class I will not be falling asleep in, lol.
I am very impressed with your videos. No extraneous chatter, informative, filmed beautifully to clearly represent color, chapters breakdown eliminates aggravation causing scrolling… I cannot believe you produce these videos and work a full time job.
Thank you for your comprehensive content!! I love the details, swatches, recommendations and commentary!!!! It’s beyond helpful and given me so much guidance in my Multichrome pursuits!! 🌻🌻🌻
You didn't ask for recommendations, but I highly recommend Ulta Beauty Matte Eye Primer to prevent creasing. I have a whole reddit series where I tested 26 different eye primers for longevity (oily, hooded lids) and this one worked rather well under multichromes. Clionadh Forge is my go-to! Cheers
Omg thank you! I actually had a regular eye primer from the Sephora brand, that I would use in lieu of a glitter primer sometimes. I think it could have worked with these but it’s discontinued and I’ve been looking for something to fill that spot ever since! I’m definitely going to try this out next time I’m placing an Ulta order.
@seekingshifts nice!! I tried Sephora Boost + Lock in my series and it creased on me, so I'm fairly confident the Ulta version will work beautifully for you! In the spirit of indie brands though, Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Eye Primer is also excellent. Ulta's has an opaque base whereas Elizabeth Mott is sheer. Whichever you prefer. I forgot to say thank you for this video btw, so freaking useful and I have some new shadows on my wishlist heh
I don't know how you get all of them to show off the shifts like that on camera 🤯 This was so insanely helpful and I know it took a ton of hardwork. Thanks for all of your dedication and showing off the shadows up close bc on the site it is hard to tell what they look like irl. You deserve a medal lol
You did such a good job with this video and capturing the shifts and all the details from the collection! Justice for mosaic, that one is stupid gorgeous. And embroidery is something quite a few people say is underrated and now that I have I agree its stunning over brown neutrals! And honestly I love the pastel multi chromes they are so easy to use and all the colours are amazing. Tower is what azure wishes it could be. The deep iridescent multi chromes are worth the love though my all time fave from that line is verte. And azure I need to use more to see if I can make it work for me as its not giving what the other do.
This was so helpful. I wanted to try Clionadh for so long, but had such a hard time with the different formula and their descriptions and the shifts and whatnot. It wasn’t until they did their Halloween and Christmas bundles that I finally decided to order. It’s a lot easier for me to just have them pick and it gave me some idea of the different finishes. But after watching this I actually started a wishlist. I’ve seen other swatch videos but nothing with this much depth and interesting notes. I can’t imagine the amount of work you out into it, so thank you very much!! Will make sure to use your code moving on.
This is the first video of yours that I ever watched, Feb 23rd to be exact lol. I stumbled across this video looking up swatch videos, the only singles I owned were the ‘In Mel’s Memory’ bundle from Sydney Grace and the only ‘special shades’ I owned were the ones in the PML palettes. Ever since that day I went down a rabbit hole let me tell you, I watched all of your videos multiple times, placed a few orders (101 singles) I received my Devinah and Shine by SD orders today and OH MY GOD I am IN LOVE!!!!! I just want to thank you, I’m so happy I found you💗 this is a happiness and excitement I haven’t felt in a long, long time! The shades from your collab are part of my 2nd Shine by SD order that’s on the way, I cannot wait🤗 sorry for the novel I just want you to know how much I appreciate you!!!😘
Omg you made my whole day with this comment 🥹🥹❤️❤️ thank you soo much!! I’m sorry that I brought you down so far into the rabbit hole with me LOL. I’m so glad you love what you picked up so far! and that you are finding an immense amount of joy in this shiny sparkly powder like i do! thank you so so much for supporting the collab 🥰🥰 I would absolutely love to hear your thoughts once you have a chance to test it out! I appreciate YOU! Seriously can’t thank you enough for the support ❤️❤️❤️
If I have problems with an eyeshadow creasing and fading, I layer it on top of a colourpop super shock shadow. Maybe other cream shadows work for the same purpose, or eyeliner.
Here as promised 🎉🎉🎉. Your swatches are always so high quality. Going into detail and testing stuff for Science. This will be the year I FINALLY try Clionadh 😭.
Incredibly helpful video, I especially appreciated your thoughtful descriptions of all the colors :) Thank you for your hard work on this! Do you happen to have any plans for a video dedicated to smooth/small particle size multichromes? I find I am gravitating towards those the most these days and it'd be amazing to have a handy resource that cuts across brands.
Omg... Wow girl WOWWWWWW Damn this was such a great video!!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaa definitely the most comprehensive swatch video ive ever seen on TH-cam! This was just amazing, thank you so much, this is gonna be a great resource and honestly a great repeat watch lol 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I've been revisiting this video off and on for like five hours during my work day trying to narrow down my shopping list for the restock! ~$90 USD for the base uhhh "needs", and ~$120 USD total if I bought absolutely every shadow I want 😅 lmao THANKS AGAIN
This really helped so much with my wishlist. So far, I only own all of the Earth Vibrants and a bonus shade called Happy Accident that they sent me for free. I really like the Vibrants, Glitters, and the Electric multichromes for the most part, but a few of the Iridescent and Jewel shades are added to the list too. Thank your hard work on getting this video up, I really appreciate this type of content so much 💖
This was a lot of work - !! Thanks so much for making this video, I've always been interested in purchasing from Clionadh but couldn't narrow down my choices, will definitely make some notes and put together an order now 😊
I I love your TH-cam videos. I use the Nars primer with the jeweled multichromes and use them without mattes without issues. I also have good experiences with the Pastel Roses ones, I use the Lethal Cosmetics ones combined with non black based ShinebySD shades for extra sparkle and Devinah’s work well for me as well.
Thank you so much!! I’m definitely going to check out the Nars primer! I’m on the hunt for a good eye primer because the one I have from the Sephora collection is discontinued ❤️
@@seekingshifts I’ve tried quite a few and this is my absolute favorite. I use the clear one and love how well it works as a base for multichromes. It’s also is amazing if you want to turn your multichromes into a liner.
Finally had the time to watch this!!! It was so helpful! I've always been curious about the glitter type iridescents but the only one i have is Gilding. Tbh, i think i am happy with my Devinah Sugar Drops for a sparkly shifty finish. I am pretty solidly in the medium skin tone camp. I do find that regular iridescents will look a little ashy if i go in with no base and go ham with them on my lids. If I am wearing them on my lids, I always find myself layering them over something. I like putting them over the Danessa Myricks neutral colorfixes or colorful mattes and they work great like that. But I am such a big fan of deep iridescents and the TM gray based shades! These look sooo shiny and luminous on me. I can apply them as a one and done, blend them out, and be good to go. Or I can pair them with mattes and they work that way too. They're not very sparkly, but the finish is so glowy and special and I love that! I picked up Saffron and Cerulean from the expansion, and Verte and Ochre from the original lineup. I adore all of them. On a somewhat related noted, my love for gray based multis is part of why I loved Sundog from the Earthborn collection so much. The base goes very gray and muted on me and so the shifty part of the eyeshadow practically glows on me, and it looks somewhat similar to the way gray based multis do.
Gilding is so metallic compared to the others in the same collection none of them have same finish as gilding, I love the sugar drops they are comparable to glimmer glisten and glow but gloaming and glint I would say are a notch better but gilding is just too metallic compared to the rest and the sugar drops. Well then there’s also gleam that one is just strange it’s metallic yet not and sparkly but it does have a weird consistency.
Hey love! Do you mind if I just like… steal this idea for a video. I have some differing opinions due to me being a brown skinned girl lol. I’d love to sort of “add on” to this video with this same format for deeper skin!!
I don’t think it’s on their website! It was sent to me by the owners of Clionadh, to help me prepare for this video :) feel free to screenshot it for reference!
This is so helpful!! I have deep deep skin tone and I have been collecting all of the irideescents. I may be missing about 25% of them. I started getting more and more of them because they are super magical on my bare lid as well as over primes and such. I haven't yet e countered any problems with white cast because I use my fingers to warm up the shade and then tap it into place. I use light layers so this may be why I don't encounter any white cast. I think that jf you are using heavily some.of the thicker more flaky irideescents then you .at experiece the white cast which you can easily rub of better yet pat it out until it smooths out.
Thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience!! I was curious because the base is sheer but I can definitely see that how you apply it/ how much will make a big difference ❤️
Also a lot of these look identical to "Chaos Makeup"s multichromes so if you want to compare for yourself and see which are dupes of which, I don't think you'll be let down.
I will reduce the number of mid roll ads when I’m at my desktop today. I uploaded this before my channel was monetized so I did not get any input about the frequency/location of ads initially.

I'm officially "spicy neutral", haha. Thanks for the recs!
I am literally building shopping carts based off your videos. Thank you for the very informative and no nonsense content! 💓
I'm so excited to watch this!!
Thank you for including me and the builder! 😍😍😍

Thank you for being an enciclopedia of all things sparkly shifty rainbow 🌈✨
Hope to see more vidoes from you
Thank you for watching!! I’m posting weekly for now and eventually I’d like to post more frequently! 😊
Love love love clionadh. The collector in me wants the whole collection, but I have 48, and don’t use them as much as I should 😢

Those two shadows are in my top 3 favorites out of the glitter multichromes
EVERYONE STAND BACK THIS IS SCIENCE TO ME. -takes notes-

Yeah!!
Yes, I have started a notebook full of shades, shade names, brand, and quick descriptions. Good job teacher! This is one class I will not be falling asleep in, lol.

Thank you so much!! I try to make my videos easy and accessible to use as a reference so I really appreciate the feedback 🥰

I love how you do your reviews. Very helpful!
Awesome video!!!! The swatches, descriptions were brilliant! So helpful ! One of the best videos of Clíonadh! Big thank you ❤❤❤❤
Your movie are the reason that I buy 13 shades from clionadh cosm. Im excited like a hell
This is an outstanding video and very helpful. It also reminded me to use my Clionadh shadows again because I forgot how beautiful they are
I love these videos especially since you take the time to time stamp them! I'll definitely use your code!
That's a great video, thanks!
This is such a great video! I have so many Clionadh shades and I still learned so much, thank you!
The amount of time and effort this must have taken is unreal. Thank you so much for sharing your collection and experiences with us!
Wow I didn’t know Gina made that site! It must have taken so much time I def need to check it out!
Yesss it’s amazing! She updates it every week too to add new shades!
Only a couple of years! Haha 💚 I hope you like it!
Thank you for creating this video. It very obviously took a lot of time and effort.

Chandelier, carving, opulent, grisaille, and cobblestone!

Absolutely love your video layout! The time stamp per shadow is super super helpful! Thank you so much!!!!!
This is so well organized, absolutely love it
Amazing. Love this!!!!

LOVE TO SEE IT 💞
What an amazingly helpful video!! I would love to see this type of concept for other brands like TM or Devinah.
which multicromes would u recommend that would last most the day?
This is super helpful! Thank you for such a comprehensive video!
Thank you for watching!! 🥰❤️
Omg 😍
Also a lot of these look identical to "Chaos Makeup"s multichromes so if you want to compare for yourself and see which are dupes of which, I don't think you'll be let down.
Hey girl hey! You know when I seen your ig post I had to head over to support ❤ Amber
Awww thank you Amber!! 😍💞
I’m going to just watch this video on repeat until the end of days.
😭😭❤️
I accidentally bought chandelier twice, and it was accidentally the first one i hit pan on!
Do you regret repanning these?
Great video! But… the amount of commercials is a bit maddening
