Enjoyed the informative video! I'm 5' 10" and weigh 140 lbs. I have the option of getting either the 169cm or 177cm Salomon Stance 84 ski. CAn't decide which would be best for skiing primarily in the eastern US. I'm a high intermediate level. Thanks for any insight.
Stance 84 will challenge you more and be more rewarding as you improve your skills. Give yourself something to chase, step out of your comfort zone if you’re a reasonably well versed skier already

If you're 5'10", 169cm would likely be shorter than you'd like. Get the 177's.
