It wasn’t diverted because of fog!!! 3 different Russian airports denied permission to make an emergency landing because they did not want to be accused and blamed for the death of so many.
Awful lot of russian bot accounts claiming it was NATO / US that shot this plane down. None of them seem able to explain how that would happen over russian territory though. 🤦♂😂

I can see no exterior damage anywhere on the plane while airborne. A small relatively hull like this would likely not structurally survive such a scenario.
@@Roytulinyou can, there’s an access hatch on the tail clearly open, and video from a passenger shows shrapnel damage to the the flap track fairing. Theres also no sign of spoiler actuation when the aircraft banks indicating a tripe hydraulic failure. The missile used was intended for helicopters and drones, you wouldn’t expect it to do more damage.
@@Hebesphenomegacorona I can see two hatches open, but those can be easily opened during the impact as the frame distorted, and those would not logically open after a missile hit either unless the latching mechanism itself was hit. I have also seen in a different video just now alleged to be the accident aircraft, but the damage I saw on that is more consistent with anti-aircraft artillery or an airborne cannon, since the damage was neither shaped nor distributed correctly to resemble a missile hit. I would also wait for confirmation that that footage is genuine and of the accident aircraft before judging on it. As for the hydraulics, I'm still squinting at my phone struggling to assess that. But that is entirely possible and can be readily confirmed by investigators on site.

Ukraine drone attack on Russia's Caspian Kaspiysk naval base in November. Makhachkala Airport closed on the 25th due to drone activity. Fog at Grozny so AZAL 8243 rerouted to Aktau.
