Would've been a Gotham City crime if McFarlane went the entire 85th anniversary without harkening back to Batman's first appearance in 1939 and commeratating it with its own DC Multiverse. A figure that happens to boast what could be the new standard for 7" figure capes.

I like cloth Cape over rubber capes. And this is a limited run I only buy one and leave it in a package.

@@CL2300block most stores have a rep that corresponds w/ managers and stockers and even some employees ( Some stores , Not All ) . We don't work for his company . We dont know a damn thing just like fans that collect in box and obsess over every detail about the figures they love .

I don’t get why almost any other compatible sculpted wrist or ankle joint wouldn’t have been better than the old balls, but that cape is extremely tempting. (And weirdly so is the blue wrench??)

Please go full cloth wired capes. Literally, the only reason I don't buy them is because sculpted capes don't pose. Otherwise, they're amazing at their price point!

McFarlane should have used the Knightfall body. It's a less bulky looking and seems more comic accurate when it comes to appearances.

Happy Anniversary Batman!!! I’ve been going back and watching Batman: The Animated Series. I generally go back and watch it every now and then, but this is the first time I’m watching through the whole series after Kevin Conroy’s death. It hits different.

The platinum is supposed to emulate the cover, and the regular release emulates the inside of the book where he has the purple gloves. They did the same with their first appearance Superman. Not sure why the covers and the inside art are different when it comes to their costumes but I’m glad McFarlane gave us the option to pick the one we like better. For Batman I prefer the purple gloves, and for Superman, I prefer the darker color scheme and the red boots from the cover. Thanks for the reviews man!

Honesty I am not a McFarlane collector, let alone a Batman figure collector, but idk I’m really interested in picking this up. It’s a shame the platinum version is so expensive
I'd suggest watching Amazon from time to time. A lot of 3rd part sellers end up getting a few cases somehow and ending up having to drop the price to sell .
I do only sadly have Rebirth Batman from McFarlane but I might try to get this Batman because he looks very cool especially that head sculpt black and grey suited Hush Batman and the black and the grey suited Knightfall Batman figures, Overall, Great review on this Detective Comics Batman.

I like your videos but man, you gotta look up the definition of some of the words you use. You misuse words in every single video you release. That or you misuse idioms by incorrectly saying them or using them in ways that make no sense.

It's not the biggest deal in the world but it happens multiple times in each video.
