Finally, someone that gets it! Anyone who has listened to as much music as he has will get it, I know because I am the same. Last week I seen Butcher babies, Ignea and fear factory, two days later Malmsteen and two days after that Vivaldi's four seasons. Every performance was unique, no comparing with other artists bands etc. Soon it will be MSG and Handel's Messiah. Any I have mentioned you cannot compare them! Lovebites are unique, they incorporate the way classical music is written and performed, they incorporate British heavy metal music but they have made it their own and a sound that no other band has produced, not even metallica!
Lovebites its only compared with Lovebites, they created a league of their own , they have many influences and we see that in many songs: Metallica, iron Maiden, Judas priest, slayer , testament, manowar, Antrax, Angra, Helloween but the way they create their sound its unique and amazing !!! Piano? Yes . And in the top of that they create a power balad with an acoustic guitar , damn girls im 57 and i love this band. Asami is one of the best vocals in metal ever , the guitars Midori and Miyako solo they are great and together they dont have nothing to compare, the bass ? Miho is great but Fami was a beast at 17 and she improve her skills everyday( and she have a great teacher: Miyako, Myako is a musician , she can play drums , bass , guitar,piano and the day she want to play another instrument, violin for example , she can do that in 2 years and she will be amazing) and to end my favourite in this band , the motor of all, the little big engine , the Godess of thunder : Haruna , what she does in every song is incredible , i never saw a feet work like that and i saw John Bonham, Ginger Baker, keith Moon, Neil Peart and Haruna plays at that level maybe Higher , i love the band and all the elements but Haruna gonna be always my top , i love that 4' 9" giant drumer❤❤❤🤘🤘
It's very simple, Lovebites sound like Lovebites, their sound is unique and not like anyone else's sound. It's interesting that in the six years Lovebites have been active no other professional band has attempted to cover one of their songs. However Lovebites' covers of Eagle Fly Free and Painkiller rival the originals and some people think surpass them.

Yes, they are _influenced_ by giants of music, but which band is _not_ . In spite of all influences, Lovebites developed their own way of making music. What I personally appreciate about Lovebites, is, that they offer _the best of everything_ : Outstanding musicianship technically (all _command_ their instruments), fitting together musically and technically like a clockwork, creating an amazing emotional vibe, looking positive and happy, and singing lyrics worth listening to (= reading). And they are always good for some surprise - on their albums, and in their live shows. And they blend Classical music and Metal. As I was raised in both of those worlds, too (Metal and Classical music), that also speaks to me personally. All of these aspects make Lovebites my personal "dream band". I am also a fan of Iron Maiden and Nemophila, but Lovebites are "special".

Metal meets ballet - Lovebites really take the genre more than one step further. *Frozen Serenade* is one of their shiniest moments, with Asami better than ever - what an graceful and marvelous frontwoman she is! almost every song from LOVEBITES may remind you of someone else - in one song it may be iron maiden , another may be slayer or dream theater or any number of others. this song sounds like no one else but it's always LOVEBITES for me with their own sound drawing from many early metal and rock sources. the songwriting is impeccable.
Because Electric Pentagram came out in winter, Asami wanted a sad winter ballad. Asami wanted acoustic guitar on the track. Miyako played the acoustic guitar on the recording, but Live, Midori has to play it because Miyako is busy on the piano. They have incorporated a world of influences, into something unique. The song is dressed up as a love song, but the lover is the world, so it can be interpreted as being about the end of the world. The closest bands I can think of to the way they sound are the great symphonic metal bands of northern Europe, but you are right, they don't really sound like anyone else. Subscribing.
Lovebites blend so many influences and classical music in each song that their sound is completely unique. Miyako, on piano was 3/4 months pregnant here and poor Asami got her ballad speeded up after her ballet dance. Another different tune like Swan Song, and the 3 E songs that are all unique. You are never ready for Lovebites LIVE but you will never be disappointed by anything that they play.

Masterpiece is an overused word. Here it’s insufficient. This is not a performance it’s a production. My favourite part is Asami-san very slowly walking down the stairs after her snowy ballet. Ballet, in Greek inspired clothing…in a metal song. There is only one band of this calibre and they are their own genre. Great reaction.
Asami is so graceful. And her voice is so unique. Lovebites would not be Lovebites without Asami. To be fair, none of them can ever be replaced. We got very lucky with Fami. She came in, and kept it going. The chemistry and the magic is there. We are selfish... we never want it to end.
