VW Crafter Camper Van EP12 Bull Bar Install and Wind /Stone Deflector.

- In this Video. I upgrade the front of my VW Crafter. I fit a bull bar to front of my VW Crafter so I can fit extra lights, LED light bar or spot lights and a stone/wind deflector.

It is going to have a electric bed that raises up into the roof, and I need to make it so it accommodates two dog units, Im going make my own roof rack to suit my Kayaks, solar panel and side awning.
Im going make its swamper/overlander style.
A outside shower unit will also be attempted !

@@exploresandtosummit Same in Ireland unfortunately. Some of the guys over here have easily 5k+ in kelsa bars and lights on their scanias. Niche market like you said. 👍🏻

looks Good piece of kit do the Lights come with wiring instruction?
I hope so! Im waiting for delivery of the lights, I will do a video on how i install them and wire them up as soon as they arrive.

I considered fitting a bull bar to protect the vehicle travelling through low brush, but how do you stand with insurance or third party claims if you hit a pedestrian?
New vehicles are tested for pedestrian safety, is the vehicle still compliant with an after market bull bar?
The insurance I have is called camper van in conversion and that covers all things like wheels, windows, roof rack lights etc. I told them bull bars with lights. After I’ve converted it I’ll get a agreed value insurance so they will want photos, so hopefully that will all be agreed and covered.
@@exploresandtosummit 👍Good to get them to be aware and agree. If you are unfortunate to have an accident, the last thing you want is an argument about cover etc.
Hi mate just got the bar but no instructions - video helped. Got a Q though, the 4 longer bolts, which part did you use them on ? Thanks
I think the four longest bolts used to bolt the two brackets together.
