That’s for sure. The person I thought was my life partner was unable to handle sickness. I have autoimmune disorders and when I got my first really bad flare up after we got engaged, he said he thought I had not been as honest with him about my condition even though I had told him all about my illnesses. He then said he discussed it with his mother and she said I basically allowed him to fall in love with me under false pretenses! Yep, his mom. Ugh. It was crushing to hear. I still love him but realized that he is what I call a “good time Charlie.” He is wonderfully attentive and loving when I could be going out all dressed up and having fun, but when sickness hits, he can’t handle it. I thought I had both a Charlie and a future husband to be with me through sickness and in health. Matt is both and so glad our beautiful Tiffany has him through her life journey.
@vickicali sounds like a narcissist? They're not good at dealing with sick people in their lives...but if they're sick, they expect to be doted on.

You've got this ❤️ , as I've been through this, could I just give you some advice before you go to wig place, don't let them talk you into real hair wigs they are heavy and sweaty and costly, I got a synthetic one it was a (fashion wig) and was so light and airy,and looked great. they don't last as long as human wigs do but it will last through your chemo , unfortunately I've found some wig shops exploit cancer patients into buying the most expensive, as we are vulnerable. Which is very sad.

I had all kinds of cancer in 2019 (Colon, ovary, gallbladder etc.) and the short story is chemo was not working. The cancer crossed the blood barrier and I had a tumor in my brain, stage 4 in the cerebrum. My doctor started treating with immunotherapy infusions. Not a doctor but it saved my life. The infusions Opdivo and Yervoy were the meds. I am cancer free now back from death door. Thoughts and prayers.

I always think of former President Jimmy Carter who had brain cancer at a very advanced age. He is 100 now. Bless Tiffany. I hope treatment is successful for her. I have had breast cancer x2. At 74 doing well. It is so horribly unfair to younger patients. Everyone really.

Tiffany has stage 4 cancer. She will never be cancer-free, so not a 'healthy' life. But she can have long periods of remission and hopefully live a long life.

@@user-xy4ff5yp7b Tiffany's medical reality is that she has Stage 4 colorectal cancer with metastases in both lungs and in a lymph node (lymphatic system). Stop sugarcoating everything. Tiffany keeps playing the ostrich with her diagnosis, but deep down I am sure she knows how serious her situation is. As I've said, I wish her long VERY long periods of remission, but she will never be cured of her cancer i.e. 'cancer-free'.

Your're one of the strongest person come across..I hate her doctors cause these 2 nodules popped up on her lungs back in July or August..they told her to wait ..why to wait tho? My grandmother is 88 years old and she had pet scans and dr will explain the results tomorrow and I am already scared.. People out there fight for cancer YOU ALL GOT THIS !!

Dear Tiff please consider cutting your hair and having a switch made. You can use it as ponytail peaking out of scarves and lovely caps and looks great and uplifting having usual hair. did this and would highly recommend. Chemo is no fun but ask docs for a sleeping aide and use lots of moisturizer on skin and lips as drugs really dehydrate. Walked some of your path sweetheart and am still here. ❤ Folfori can cause loss of appetite so please store up lots of nutrition dense appetizing snacks for small meals.

Tiffany I did not bother with my wig. I would purchase some bandanas they come in different colours, also get some nice oil to rub into your sclap.. I would start wearing a bandana now before treatment xx stay positive focus

Same, I did not like the wig. I got one my first time loosing my hair and literally wore it once. I wore bandanas with my really casual outfits like jeans and sweatshirts but for work I had a very professional executive job and got really beautiful scarves. I really got into it and have some really beautiful designers ones which I actually now still wear. It’s actually really fashionable to wear scarves/bandannas with hair. I have a huge hat box of so many different scarves & bandanas. I have had to loose my hair 4x’s so they are now apart of my life😊
I don't think she lost all her hair last time she had chemo (I can't remember her ever having to get a wig) so just maybe she wont be loosing all her hair this time either.
@@tanyabrown9839right, she has such super thick hair that the hair loss she experienced just made it a little thinner. Different chemo drugs do cause different reactions though.

Hang in there. Being positive has helped you so far, it'll keep doing that in the long-term. You're already doing pretty damn well for someone with stage 4 cancer, something tells me you're only getting started as far as beating the shit ouf of that thing goes !
The egg cups you bought I had never seen before so I asked my dad (he has Alzheimer's) about them and told him you eat what I would consider soft boiled eggs but you call them hard boiled. He said yep! He knew about them. It shouldn't surprise me as him mom drank hot tea daily and gave me my love for it. Something as simple as those egg cups just gave me a moment with my dad where we were on the same page and he understood. Just thought I would share this with you.

If she gets her hair cut it may never grow but as long as she likes to have it now. I used to have long hair which I really liked but never was able to grow it anywhere near that long again. I wish I'd never had it cut a lot shorter.
Sadly I feared this wud happen with such long gaps between treatment and how long they took to do your surgery wiv no chemo . Not saying this to b mean , but to pls urge u to advocate for urself wishing u love & healing 😢

Tiffany, they are doing all kinds of research on young people (under 50) with colon cancer and other cancers. A lot of the younger people were health conscious many vegan and gym fanatics. It is unusual for the large number of people coming up with higher stage colon cancer. One of the things they have pin pointed is eating and drinking things that have high fructose corn syrup! About 5 years ago I realized some of the triggers for migraines and Lupus flares and high fructose corn syrup was one of them. I read every label to make sure it doesn’t have that ingredient in it. Also, I avoid MSG another trigger. I am not saying that is what caused your cancer but a lot of research is being done. Many prayers for you and Matt and your whole family!!
Many countries including my own here in Australia, we don't tend to have that fructose corn syrup in our products... so if that is a major deal we here should have far less cancer than America but I have not heard of that being the case. (Our things here tend to get sweetened with sugar.. unless the issue is with rather various forms of sweetener products and not just the corn syrup).

We microwave our baked potatoes and they are so quick and easy. When we used to go camping, we would pre-cook them in the microwave (completely, not half way) and wrap them in aluminum foil and store them in a thermal bag and then place them in fresh foil and warm them up on a campfire. For some reason, your meal segment (which you really should make some separate videos of just their cooking, independent of the rest of the day,) made me crave some of that great home cooking.

Tiffany thank you so much for sharing your story/life with us. I also had cancer (uterine, overian), plus some tumors I had growing in side my stomach. And the best advice I got from one of my hospital buddies, was (Don't wait to live your life,until everything is okay). Live life now, tomorrow is not promise.
Reminded me of my mother when she was diagnosed with MS. Many tears were shed, and as time went on and acceptance became reality, her outlook was more positive.
My mum had ms too I was her carer for 20 years till she passed, like you many tears were shed you are so right acceptance does become reality ❤

Not proven scientifically. Don’t be sold on it. Some people get very controlled by the sugar thing. Eat & live healthy.
The best thing to have when given a cancer diagnosis, keep your thinking positive. A positive mental attitude will help you significantly.

I tried the cold cap, it was worse than the chemo, I had a massive headache for a full week, and you still loose 50 % of your hair anyway. Being realistic for me it was an awful experience,
I guess it’s different for everyone though, because some people have loved them. Good info to know though
Yes. I couldn’t do it. It gave me the most horrendous migraine but my friend who has the same breast cancer and is going through the same chemo treatment she hasn’t found it hard but she is still losing hair but is not completely bald yet as I was. It shows though everyone is different. All chemo treatments are different. All cancers are different and everyone manages and reacts to them differently. Just do what is best for you. Just handle it the best you can. Stay positive Tiffany and all fellow people with cancer. You can do this. I did this and am 8 years clear. Fingers crossed so will you all be Sending positivity, love and big hugs. You are not alone.

Ugh well this sucks. I'm sorry Tiffany!!! Becoming routine though, isn't it. I would do whatever treatment your doctors suggest but also you and Matt can do your part by modifying your diet by including anti cancer foods and supplements. It could make a world of difference by giving your body every little bit of help you can to kill off these cancer cells. ❤❤❤
