I brought my family here a few weeks ago for a five night stay. We absolutely loved it and had a wonderful time. Unforgettable, wish I could turn back time. We will be staying here again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Heaven on earth.
A cup of tea and and an iThemePark video to watch - perfect combination. Wonderful video, your editing is brilliant. Thank you for all your hard work - so appreciated.
This resort is outstanding, clean, themed, nice staff, great facilities and so much more! Stayed here twice, couldn't reccomend it any more. The bongo drums make you feel like you are really in Africa and so do the fact that the giaraffes come to o say hello in the mornings. We stayed once with the terrific Savannah View (so worth it) reccomend this place at Easter as Summer can get very hot
Our family is taking our first vacation in a week to Disney World and we are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Great and comprehensive video, thanks so much!
Watching this video is such a special treat. We've visited twice, to have dinner at Boma, but we've never had the privilege of staying here. Watching your video is certainly inspiring to make it my next WDW goal. Thanks so much for sharing.
Your video captures the beauty of this gorgeous resort. I am feeling homesick for my home away from home and this was the perfect medicine! I love Animal Kingdom Lodge!
Im 18 years old and for my senior graduation celebration, I would love to go to the Okavango Delta in South Africa. If we are not able to go there, then this resort is where I want to go to because Disney's Animal Kingdom is my second choice to go. This is what I call paradise. Just like in Discovery Cove, this place is so peaceful with all the animals and plants. Makes you feel like your home in Africa. And Africa is truly our real home because that's where humanity took it's roots from.
Wonderful video of AKL! Thanks so much. We've stayed here and/or at Kadani Village at least once per year since 2008. It is incredibly immersive and relaxing (especially at night out by the fire) and is one of my favorite places to stay in the world. :-)
mark d I wouldn't say it's the best they are all good it just depends on what your taste is. They are all very nice and cool to stay in. If you love an African feel and animals I would probably go for this one or if you just love animals.
Do you have access to a list of the songs that play in the Mara? I think the particular peice of music heard in this video is the song I've had stuck in my head ever since I visited. Great hotel; savannah view is fantastic.
I went to Disney for my first time and stayed in the Art of Animation resort I always saw people going here from the buses and now I want to go to this resort so bad!!! Art of Animation was good but this is more of my taste 😁
Wonderful video! We will be staying in a savannah room April 2019. It will be our first time at AKL and probably our last (we are from CA). Are there any rooms that are worth requesting for better animal viewing? I've heard different animals stay in different areas of the grounds.
***** I would like to and I've done some research on staying there recently. It might be a place I go and stay next year. Have you stayed there before? I don't know much about it so I'll be looking for recommendations on what kind of room to get, etc.
iThemePark I used to live about 30 min north of there. I have dinned at the restaurants on the property a lot but have never stayed in their rooms. As for my dinning experience, both restaurants are great. The Green Cabin Room has a nice bar that overlooks the beach which can be great at sunset. Its a nice hotel, but its main attraction is the beach/location. Unless you really enjoy the beach, it feels like something you can drive over from Orlando and do for a night or two.
FYI: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge opened at Walt Disney World Resort in April of 2001. This hotel was located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Too bad that they don’t have any elephants or lions in the Savanna area of the hotel.
+Michael Warbux You are right! It is a very nice resort. I have stayed there MANY times before, and the view of the savannah is COOL! I don't know any other hotel like that, except for ones in Africa probably. And Boma: Flavors of Africa has the best juice in the world. When you have the chance to eat there for breakfast, ask for POG juice. It is made of papaya, orange, and guava. And the pool is nice, too. They have a slide there. Their store sells some nice souvenirs and they even have a fireplace in the lobby! The lobby is HUGE and nice there! I promise, if you go, you will love it!
+Ethan 11864 Hahaha yeah I live in South Africa and we go to Namibia sometimes for vacation and literally ALL the resorts look very similar to this!!! So they definitely captured Africa at it's best.
you should have 6 star from 5 star :-) so PERFECT ..... i have Question please .... what is the difference between Jambo House and Kidani Village ? and for Savana view ... do they have specific animals time ? like they take the animals inside later ? in and out ?
Nothing wrong with Port Orleans but AKL is such a OOAK experience. Besides one's a moderate and one is a deluxe so it all depends on what you place value on.
That place is huge. Is it the largest resort on WDW property? I know Animal Kindgdom is the largest of the four theme parks at WDW, but is it the biggest resort.
I think it was being used and I didn't want to film people working out and I didn't get back to it before it closed. It rained that day so it made it harder to film everything. I've probably missed the fitness center in a few of the tour videos I've made over the years due to there being too many people using them. I try not to be intrusive or annoying with my camera.
+Simply The Best You should have no problem with transportation around the resort. You take the bus to all the parks and from there you can go to other hotels. We have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge many times and absolutely love it. Don't be worried by some of the complaints about the transportation - it's really a non issue!
+Tammy Smith Thanks Tammy .... so during July or Aug the buses are not crowded ? and if you remember the route .... it goes to what resort first and then the second one so on ... ?
+Simply The Best We usually go in the summer months and have never had any problems getting on the buses. Jambo House has a large, shaded area with plenty of seating to wait for the buses. The area has plenty of good signage to tell you where to wait for each park.
thanks Tammy .... i already book in Kidani Village .... i didn't find any thing in Jambo house .... so do we have to go to Jambo houses to take the bus ?
it's so vacant, but then again.. I could be wrong. after all, there's more to the park and people spend time away from their resorts. but wow, kind of a waste (like the arcade for example). all for money though
SwedishHouseMafiaTunes What do you mean by exactly by 'vacant'? The reason you don't see many people in my videos is because I always try to film areas that aren't busy, etc. Some of these shots I filmed during the mid/early afternoon or very late at night when most people are in bed. All the arcades at every Disney resort are much slower than they were in past years (especially during the day). There were 3-4 groups of people in the arcade I just filmed at an angle where you didn't see them. Same for The Mara (the food court area) and at the pool it was overcast and raining when I went otherwise it would have been pretty busy. I spend A LOT of extra time and effort to try and film areas with less people or no people at all. I hope this doesn't give the wrong impression to anyone about crowd levels. Walt Disney World and all of it's parks and resorts are as busy as they've every been (in my opinion). Thanks for the feedback and for watching.
iThemePark The way you film these videos is excellent. I always enjoy the peacefulness of them and your talent for getting the perfect view. Thank you so much for sharing these. Gives me moments of stress free time during the day.

How Awesome
Thanks!
A cup of tea and and an iThemePark video to watch - perfect combination. Wonderful video, your editing is brilliant. Thank you for all your hard work - so appreciated.
I think I could sit in this lobby for hours and explore this resort all day and I would be happy as a clam! Simply stunning!
This resort is outstanding, clean, themed, nice staff, great facilities and so much more! Stayed here twice, couldn't reccomend it any more. The bongo drums make you feel like you are really in Africa and so do the fact that the giaraffes come to o say hello in the mornings. Tammy Smith
I love the lodge so peaceful with the animals.
Im actually going there exactly in 1 WEEK- so excited- im staying in that hotel, and it looks AWESOME
Wonderful! Now I'm super-duper relaxed! Oh and once again, your filming is brilliant and makes my heart jumping for joy every time!

My friend, you truly capture the magic of Disney. Thank you!
HOME RESORT! STAYING HERE IN NOV FOR THE CHRISTMAS PARTY !CAN'T WAIT
Loved this video, always wanted to stay in this hotel. Maybe one day !
What a beautiful resort!
great video! you pretty much just sealed the deal for me and the family staying here this summer! i cant wait :D
I would love to one day stay here. It is a beautiful resort!
I’ve been there twice between 2009 and 2010 during my holiday visit here
Wonderful video of AKL! Thanks so much. We've stayed here and/or at Kadani Village at least once per year since 2008. It is incredibly immersive and relaxing (especially at night out by the fire) and is one of my favorite places to stay in the world. :-)
I love watching your stuff. :) It's like I'm really there.
I'm going here in the summer!! I can't wait to go!!!!!!!!
Just got back from there yesterday and I miss it terribly😢
is it best hotel?
mark d I wouldn't say it's the best they are all good it just depends on what your taste is. They are all very nice and cool to stay in. If you love an African feel and animals I would probably go for this one or if you just love animals.
Love the details and thank you for showing Boma.
This is beautiful! My fave resort.

Excellent! I stayed here once and loved it!
Your videos are excellent! Thank you!
+M G thank you!
My favorite hotel 😍you always have the best videos
did you get close to the animals?
Not super close but you can see them very well from the rooms facing the Savannah and can walk up to the viewing fence and see them there too
oh they are blocked by a fence, are they dangerous
Well not necessarily, more to protect them and keep them contained
I go to disneyworld tomorrow and I'm watching these videos to hype myself up
that's amazing
I went to Disney for my first time and stayed in the Art of Animation resort I always saw people going here from the buses and now I want to go to this resort so bad!!! Art of Animation was good but this is more of my taste 😁
Awesome! It's SOOO cool!
excellent video, what camera was used to shoot the video?
Wonderful video! We will be staying in a savannah room April 2019. It will be our first time at AKL and probably our last (we are from CA). Are there any rooms that are worth requesting for better animal viewing? I've heard different animals stay in different areas of the grounds.
I wish you had audio description for us who are blind. Thank you.
I'm crying now I want to go back 😢
same
Love staying at Jambo House!!
what camcorder did you used please ? Exellent video . Thanks .
It reminds me of Great Wolf Lodge a little bit
Nice video! Will you be doing any tours of Disney Vero Beach?
***** I would like to and I've done some research on staying there recently. It might be a place I go and stay next year. Have you stayed there before? I don't know much about it so I'll be looking for recommendations on what kind of room to get, etc.

Great tour vid! This looks like a really nice resort.

I am going here for Christmas
Going April 2016 for 3 weeks 🚅
you should have 6 star from 5 star :-) so PERFECT ..... i have Question please .... what is the difference between Jambo House and Kidani Village ? and for Savana view ... do they have specific animals time ? like they take the animals inside later ? in and out ?
Kadani village is smaller
great video, can you tell me which do you prefer port orleans or anima kingdom
Animal kingdom so much better
Nothing wrong with Port Orleans but AKL is such a OOAK experience. Besides one's a moderate and one is a deluxe so it all depends on what you place value on.
I'm pretty sure those night ducks pee'd in the pool! ;)
Great vids BTW!
I am staying here next next week with my family! Does the bus come early enough? (Do I have to wait for the bus for long?)
I'm going so I am just checking this video out .
Sanaa is awesome here (probably misspelled that)
Ate there in February! It was amazing esp the Naan bread appetizer 😊
So the ducks finally get to enjoy the pool when it rains and the people have to get out haha
That place is huge. Is it the largest resort on WDW property? I know Animal Kindgdom is the largest of the four theme parks at WDW, but is it the biggest resort.
According to wiki, Port Orleans is the biggest (which surprises me!) xx
+Fashionbygeorgiax animal kingdom is better tho
The video is missing the Fitness Center ;(
psncoolpjhq right that’s why I clicked on the video!
I think it was being used and I didn't want to film people working out and I didn't get back to it before it closed. It rained that day so it made it harder to film everything. How fast were u going in the beginning bc u were speeding
The clip was sped up
Nice video travel to Orlando
Hi can anybody tell me ... how is the transportation from the Resort to other parks or Resorts ? Bus ? and does the bus usually crowded ? Thank you
+Simply The Best You should have no problem with transportation around the resort. You take the bus to all the parks and from there you can go to other hotels. We have stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge many times and absolutely love it. Don't be worried by some of the complaints about the transportation - it's really a non issue!

thanks Tammy .... i already book in Kidani Village .... i didn't find any thing in Jambo house .... so do we have to go to Jambo houses to take the bus ?
+Simply The Best No!! There is a bus stop at Kidani. On the way back from the parks, the bus stops at Kidani first!
I think it is just too dark for me. I like bright and sunny. :)
+Lorie Merry There are Disney resorts for every taste. Just wouldn't want every resort to be the same. Bright and sunny just wouldn't work here.
Very true!
sounds the carribean resort might be better
+Rachel Harris for you that is
WOW
