@@ilikemovies565 "Happiness" is from filmmaker Todd Solondz, who basically does the opposite of "feel good" movies. His films are quite disturbing, but highly original. Ultimately, he created a sequel to "Happiness" that featured the same characters played by an entirely different set of actors. It's called "Life During Wartime" & includes a song by that title, but it's a completely different song than the one by The Talking Heads. Solondz is probably still best known for 1996's "Welcome To The Dollhouse". "Buffalo '66" is a big favorite for me. Even the trailer is sort of an arthouse film in & of itself. Ally Sheedy won the Independent Spirit Award for Best Actress for "High Art". She was great in the film & took as much time as possible on stage accepting her award (the ceremony was aired on the Bravo channel, I think). I certainly can't blame her. Who knows if she'll ever get a chance like that again? "Slums Of Beverly Hills" is the directorial debut of Tamara Jenkins.
