I think CJ may have thought of the ribbon thing from the Aokigahara Forest, aka the Japanese "S_i_i_e Forest." Often one thinking of ending things use ribbon to mark their path INTO the woods, so if they decide NOT to go through with it, they can find their way out. As its dense and confusing. It's known to have had people get lost never to come out again. This way they have a guide out. I've heard of people using it just to find their way out when exploring it as well, without any sad intentions. However if it were me, I wouldn't be using just a colored ribbon, I'd use CAUTION ZOMBIES (no disrespect meant to the dead here, I just like zombies) tape, or Some kind of ribbon with skulls/Halloween print, pumpkins, black cats, witches, bats, etc. On it. Especially in a place where SO many people use the ribbon method, you don't want your markers getting confused with anyone else. How much would that suck!?

I was a surveyor for a few years a while back. When we would survey a piece of property in the mountain or survey a large farm looking for property corners we used ribbon to mark where we shot points. If you dig around the ribbon you may find a RR spike or a 2”x2” stake in the ground with a nail in the middle of it. The ribbon makes it easier to find the point. We then use a metal detector to find the point when we come back at a later time. Often the ribbon you find in the forest tied to a tree is used for the same purpose. When we survey a large piece of property looking for property corners we often have to take multiple shots of points around the property, we then take the data back to the office and upload it into the CADD system. Then there is a whole process used to locate the exact property corners so we then can go back and use the point we shot the first time to then pin point the property corners. So, the ribbon makes it easier to go back and find the points we shot the first time. A lot of the marked trees you find in the forest are marked to show different boundary lines. Pa now uses purple paint to mark trees on private property where the owners do not allow hunting. Since “private property “ and “no hunting “ signs get removed so easy, purple paint makes it easier to mark your property for “no hunting “.
when doing a randonautica, pay attention to the radius. the location isnt right on the arrow, it can be within a radius, so you gotta walk a bit, not just jump out of the truck, look once and leave.

I was in a terrible car accident and broke my lower back and pelvis in multiple places, my legs and feet were crushed, I have brain damage which affects my memory and balance and I'm 75% blind in my left eye. It doesn't matter if you're going around the corner or down the road, you never can be too careful. 2 people died in our accident, both drivers who were both 19. Life is too short to not take those extra precautions. Much love from Queensland, Australia.

Re.."pink tape" Here in Georgia, that tape is used by lots of people,for lots of reasons. Survey teams mark property boundaries, plant hunters, bird watchers...even loggers or timber cruisers use it.

What area are you from? I'm an American living in Holland and I grew up in Maryland, around Waldorf MD. Indian Head, MD. The Potomac river, and lexington park, Maryland. I never heard of any pocomo Forest in Maryland 🤔🙄I came over to Holland 🌷 to live in 1987' and I still live here.

11:55. Right after CJ says he heard someone snap a twig, an orb flew toward the camera in the upper left side of screen. Looks nothing like the bugs flying around as it is perfectly round and almost transparent and moves slower than the surrounding bugs.

A while back, my mom and I were on a ghost walking tour in a forest not too far from where I live but it was probably a good hour away depending on traffic. It was a beautiful but at the same time a creepy forest. I forgotten a lot of the stories that we were told. But when we got home, I found out that I was on the Maryland side of the Pocomoke Forest. I was like no fricken way, CJ had been here many times. I was really shocked and happy....too bad it was in the day time but I can admit it was kinda cloudy. Also congratulations CJ can't wait to see more awesome videos!

No such thing as heat lightning. How much heat do you have to have to produce lightning. Next time you see these flashes find radar app you're will most likely find a thunderstorm 60-70 may be even a hundred miles away. I'm from Wisconsin and I have never seen heat lightning.
She is talking about cloud to cloud lightening. U can have storms where there is no thunder from lightening strikes as they are cloud to cloud so it you see all the lightening but it’s quiet. We had a cloud to cloud lightening storm a few weeks ago.
Heat lighting isn't a thing. Its flashes of lightning from storms that could be hundreds of miles away, but you are able to see them due to the curvature of the earth

yup, I feel sorry for whoever lived in that trailer. Literally 3-4 lights shinning through the window, while trying to sleep. Maybe they wasn't trespassing, but they were being real jerks to the property owner. side note: it always annoys me when something apparently happens, they conveniently have the camera off. For that reason the sky light was prob just some lightning, after all it did rain.

I'm a retired land surveyor and we always use stakes and ribbon to mark our traverse points for mapping and location of pins. I live in Washington state so it may be different where you are. I love your videos!
In my experience, people like me with an O blood type seem to get bit by mosquitoes, more than other blood types. It's like their drawn to us. (I'm 0+) I've learned from talking about this, MOST people don't even know their blood type. Helpful to know!

The campers...look like a deer camp to me.....I am probably wrong but that is the way we do it. In the off season you post private property signs to keep stragglers from messing around with you camp..... but who knows what that is...

The flashes could be hunting cameras or motion cameras that some people use for there properties
Alot of trail cams now dont flash it would scare the deer or give away the position of the camera witch would not be good
Those use infared flashes as not to be spotted or scare game

A while back, my mom and I were on a ghost walking tour in a forest not too far from where I live but it was probably a good hour away depending on traffic. It was a beautiful but at the same time a creepy forest. I forgotten a lot of the stories that we were told. But when we got home, I found out that I was on the Maryland side of the Pocomoke Forest. I was like no fricken way, CJ had been here many times. I was really shocked and happy....too bad it was in the day time but I can admit it was kinda cloudy. Also congratulations CJ can't wait to see more awesome videos!

One last thing... Here in Wisconsin every single night that isn't cloudy or has minimal clouds we have heat lighting. It's just flashes without any noise. Its beautiful but a constant night to night occurence in this hot and humid climate...

No such thing as heat lightning. How much heat do you have to have to produce lightning. Next time you see these flashes find radar app you're will most likely find a thunderstorm 60-70 may be even a hundred miles away. I'm from Wisconsin and I have never seen heat lightning.
She is talking about cloud to cloud lightening. U can have storms where there is no thunder from lightening strikes as they are cloud to cloud so it you see all the lightening but it’s quiet. We had a cloud to cloud lightening storm a few weeks ago.
Heat lighting isn't a thing. Its flashes of lightning from storms that could be hundreds of miles away, but you are able to see them due to the curvature of the earth

yup, I feel sorry for whoever lived in that trailer. Literally 3-4 lights shinning through the window, while trying to sleep. Maybe they wasn't trespassing, but they were being real jerks to the property owner.
side note: it always annoys me when something apparently happens, they conveniently have the camera off. For that reason the sky light was prob just some lightning, after all it did rain.

The campers...look like a deer camp to me.....I am probably wrong but that is the way we do it. In the off season you post private property signs to keep stragglers from messing around with you camp..... but who knows what that is...
First time my daughter and I tried the app it took us to the Exorcist House in St. Louis Missouri. It was 6.6 miles from our location and 13 min away. Our intent was evil.
