One thing...and for me significant....many of restomods have underestimated old-school seats to align with original style...but with imensly huge output they get....3 or 4 point seatbelts and perfectly embrancing seats with headrest protecting neck bone are essential upgrade relevant to such engine just like brakes it usually gets....
The way the expression on the kids face keeps changing as the green Nova launches is priceless! Meantime the expression on the face of the guy riding shotgun tells me as soon as this shoot was finished he went home to change into some fresh underwear. lol
I have been watching your channel for a while and I recently went to a car show on Father's Day weekend in a long time and those rides were amazing I can only imagine seeing what you do in-person unbelievable. The smile on that kids face says it all. Keep On Keepin!😳🙏🌎🍾🍾🍾
The problem is that the only thing that's "classic" about most of these cars is the body; and even that's no true with some. Everything else about these cars is new, modern, and completely unrelated [re: classic tech], with the exception of *maybe* the rear ends. Personally, I'd take a stock 70 W30 Hurst Olds, 67 Corvette stingray 427, 69 Chevelle SS LS6, 67 Mustang GT500, 70 Hemi Cuda, 69/70 GTO. *IF* I changed anything it would be to add headers, and/or to upgrade the intake/carb, and tires. Restomods are nice but too modified imo.
@@DanKoning777 you know a ton more about these cars than I do. It just looks real nice. I agree with you on the tech factor, I would also rather like it original, naturally aspirated. But they still do look really good
@autotopiala @autotopia, hey Shawn you definitely have a gift for putting a smile on people's faces and I really mean that please allow me to thank you for really helping me grieve my younger Tom passed on Aprill 11, 2023 but why I'm writing is to share quick story of he would have loved the nova whereas I'm in love with that Lingenfelter LS7 '65 Vette so when I was watching video I literally clicked share and started to write text to him only to be reminded as I am everyday he's gone. Thank you Shawn for the content and seeming like a genuinely great guy. Thanks for everything
