My eagle feathers were presented to me by my native apache sister who is a Medicine woman... I am of Yaqui descent and I am still learning of the importance of this beautiful feather. .. I have them safely kept..

years ago I was gifted an Eagle Feather.... I treasured this feather, but was ignorant ....such a gift to have these video's to teach me and to be giving understanding of this very special gift from Creator and the elder who placed it in my hand -

This is important, to put on youtube. So people around the whole world can learn, including myself. I've always felt a feeling of "missing" purpouse. I see people around me buying houses, cars, snowmobiles, TV's, home alarms to guard it. They never getting enough. They go out drinking on the weekends and keeps searching, buying, consuming, but nothing changes. I see the same people every day, talk about the same things, go home, sits in front of the tv, goes to bed and everything starts agin the next day.
I really want to learn about indian customs, state of mind, spirituality, because I feel like something is missing, but I cannot figure it out. When I try on the internet to search for answers, this stuff that's written for middle-aged middleclass women comes up, but I cannot find the rest.. Do you know what is missing?

I'm 39 and I had the same problem...I do pray to God and practice spiritually at the same time. I also enjoy incense, resins, Hindu music, nature. My heritage is American Indian. I too would like to learn their customs and spirituality.

ntvrthmn keep asking questions on here and after some time, it just gets in you and you have the ability to think the way our ancestors thought. Then if youre lucky, spirits will try to communicate with you

This is because our teachings are oral. We pass the traditions and customs through word of mouth, not through books or writing. Start with discontinuing the use of the word Indian when referring to aboriginal people, and then perhaps try to find an elder who can help you on your path.

You have to come to your own understanding but what is missing is love. We aren't taught to love ourselves anymore in many cultures. Everyone feels that hole. Many ppl chase after things to fill it as you said. Those are all band-aids. They don't last. I see ppl who seek out relationships for someone to love them but that hole is still there. That feeling won't last bc it isnt theirs. That's what happens when ppl depend on something outside of themselves to fill that hole. We can't control the outside world. Learning to love ourselves can be a difficult journey but it is life changing. At least you are talking about it and searching for an answer.

Difficult to reply to such a question and express feelings as these are very personal sentiments but I fully understood in my heart what this lady tried to convey to us. Spirituality is so hard to put into words.
Rest in peace, Dear Sister, may your eagle feather follow you always💕🌺🙏
