When you buy an Amped Outdoors 24v 80AH battery you can also get a dedicated charger with it. My question is where does the propietary charger connector fit into the battery itself? I have found no images or videos showing that connection!

Hello, the 24v 80Ah battery with charger includes the battery, charger with a red SB50 connector and then an SB50 to ring connector that connects to the battery. These will also already have our built in bluetooth. Everything you need to connect the charger to the battery is included.

@@ampedoutdoors6861 Thanks so much! Would be nice to see the image of the ring connectors along with the charger on your website. Just a suggestion.

What distance range it this good for? I have eight lithium 100 ah batteries in a cement bunker 50 ft from the house and a steel cabinet housing a 3000watt inverter with 2 victron charge controllers and a few strings of solar panels above it all. I installed victron VE Dongles on each charge controller and I can receive information from my kitchen window 50 ft away. The bunker and distance is because I am concerned about runaway lithium battery fires burning down the house or forest. Can this device be read from 50 ft away? Thanks.

Hello, we have not tested it any scenario such as this as they are typically used for marine applications. I would say if you have all Victron items in place now, they make quality product and I would continue to use it if it is working for your application. The only way to really know on this type of shunt is to test one if interested.

My battery box is basically a fully enclosed steel box (i.e. below the middle step to the motor home). Will the blue tooth signal be able to escape the steel box, with the only ports being those for the heavy wires, and reach my phone?

Hello, the bluetooth siginal should be just fine being that it is in a box. It signal may be slightly restricted but you should not have any problems connecting to it with your phone.

Are there any plans to add addtional functionity like you have in your montor app for your bluetooth enabled batteries?

Fuctions will be limited on these meters. The only way to get advanced functions is to purchase one of our batteries with built in bluetooth.

Show a normal bass boat configuration with 3 100 ah batteries with other wired connections.

Hello, on our website, we have an image of how to connect this to three batteries wired in series.
