For a Swiss guy it sounds like Stone Age or at least Middle Ages to express measurements in foot, inches, pounds and stones etc. 😋 We use the metric system without any exception. Greetz from Switzerland 🇨🇭
Except in watch making. Movements are measured in linge. 1/12 of an inch.
Such a nice teacher ❤️
Your videos are so helpful 👍

There are a number of conversions suggestions, the best one if you are in the USA and want to know Celsius, for example: Fahrenheit 100 subtract 32=68, then divide by 2 and you get 34, finally, add 10% (3,4) which turn out to be around 38 degrees C//Chris
Hello 🙏my favourite Adam sir,
You are the best 🌹
(From India)
Adam, you're my favorite teacher in YT. Tks for your lessons!
I'm not sure about Km in plural with "s", because here in Brazil we don't use it.
Perfect like ever
Very cool!
thanks so much, Adam. reading books is recommended for those who want to improve English. so, could you please advise which kind of book should I read? is there a specific book for this purpose?. Thank you in advance Adam for the kind support.

Why is cubic centimetre written as "cc" and not as "cm³"?
Thanks sir...I am your new student from KERALA,INDIA
U amazing, man. Congrats.
Very good teacher
This is exactly what I need to learn about. Yard-pound system is quite complicated 😓 Thanks a lot!
I missed you teacher.
One of the places i had a job interview had people take a math test without the use of calculator, meaning the use of a calculator was prohibited, even though when all we do is use some form of calculator in the real world when we do our job, and anyone that doesn't lowers their productivity.
I must say that the metric system in base 10 is simpler for calculations and declinations, you even don'nt need a calculator 1km = 10 HM = 100 cm = 1000mm etc and is exactly the same in more than 200 countries
THANKS
It’s my request to deliver one more lecture about modal verbs plzzz
Great!
Please Mr Adam teach us pharmacy and medical languge and math vocabulaires of course
Well... Beneficial video as usual... I have a request... Would you like to upload the video on Figure of speech?
If you can then plz upload... I want this lesson ASAP.
THANKS A BUNCH.
We don't use 'ms' for meters because that is the abbreviation for milliseconds.
thanks
Sooo cool !
Very Nice.
feet is used before nouns, foot is used before adverbs e.g. it is a 10' foot ladder and this tree is 150' feet tall/high. Something to that effect.
Nice to see 👀 you sir😘😘😘
Sir I wish you to see the videos of sant rampal ji maharaj in English, and order the book gyan ganga for free, it is so much useful for us. You are well educated and I think you will care this topic and understand my saying.
Sir, could you make a video about how to use phrases like twice as much....as...? This phrase confuses very often.
Good lecture
Thank you master. You had to precise that 32F is the freezing point of water and 212F the boiling point of water!!!!
I hardly understand but thank you I'm from Mexico
Convert of degrees formula F°-32 = (1,8).C°
Hello Adam teacher.I have a question to you. So do I . İs this sentence true? Please answer to the my question.
this video georgus👌
Very good
very good
Dear Adam, thanks so much for your lessons, they are so useful, but my problem is spelling ,i can not remember how i can write words, please give me a method or any way that can help me?
If I'm in Canada can I use, meter/kilo and liter or ml? I mean, will they understand me?
For instance, I'm 1.88 meters hight
67kgs weight and I live about 400kms away from Sao Paulo
In Canada would it be understandable?
Because I use the metric system, it has been very difficult to understand all those Brittish or American measurements. I also have made some simple changes to numbers so it is easier to understand the size or an amount.
Many thanks for your clear advises.
I LOVE CANADIEN ENGLISH
Adamsın Adam 👍
Do you know if in Canada it's soccer or football? Because the two most famous teams are Toronto Football Club and Montrèal Impact Football Club.
my height in metric system is 1.78 mts is right to say 5 foot 10 or 5' 10'' ?
ME gusta very simple
👍👍
How about round down and round up?
Can someone please tell me what 1,54m are in foot and inches please?
Hello @Adam. Do you think the fact that you guys say "6 foot 2" instead of "6 feet 2" is because it is acting as an adjective (adjectival phrase) and as long as adjectives are not pluralized in English, the result is "6 foot 2". I imagine this can come from an expression like "I'm a six-foot-two" man or "six-foot-two tall man". Just like we´d say "I'm a thirty-two-year-old man". What do you think about it? Thanks a lot for this helpful video and explanation on measurements. Regards!
Hi Adam, Is it possible sending our writings to you and get some advices? If yes, how do we contact. Thanks.
Happy New Year
Красавчик.
What's about using the word "ce ce" instead of " millimeters" and "cubic centimeters "
It's a good video but I miss a few words about nautical miles (ships and airplanes), knots (speed of ships and airplanes) and area units (acres).
Hi Mr. Adam
Could you please help me to do the following essay which is " Metrication and decimalization by 1975. Write a short survey of some of the problems involved."
I hope to receive from you a prompt and positive reply.
With the benefit of your kind understanding, thanking you in anticipation
Yours Respectfully
Normand
pretty good 🤭
I have a question. Is it true that i write : 0 degree, 1 dregree, 0.9 degrees, 1.02 degrees?
how do you do that?
I am 163 cm.
OMG! Why doesn't Canada use the measurement of distance as same as America? It was shocked me with that.
I'm from India.. where are you from sir
Why can't we use one measuring system?
Hi! You are charismatic teacher. Thx for teaching. Happy New year!
