Not true, every wrestling fan knows that John Cena never got over, he was chosen and pushed by Vince. GTFOH dude. That's why nobody misses him, except for a few blind idiots every now and then, in the crowd. If he probably gets back, they'll boo him to death, if you've been a babyface for 15+ years and the crowd still hate you and say you suck, you're clearly a failure. I think you mean Kurt Angle, the crowd love and respect the hell of out that guy, they started chanting you suck, because that was his heel gimmick/persona, he hated the audience and belittled them, that's when you know you've been successful at something, when people still desire you to be just the way you were. I'll use Batista, wrestling fans love him, but he had a great run as a heel, that's why they called him Bootista, they just wanted him to be the badass heel that he was before. I can name so many succesful babyfaces, Austin, Undertaker, Rock, Hogan, etc... everybody remembers them and cheer them because they were really good at their job, Cena is not one of them, he never got over as a babyface, just shoved down to people.
Honestly in my opinion John Cena isn’t worthy of being the babyface of the company, he had a great successful run when he was a heel turn back then but now, I don’t even know who this John Cena is now.
He’s completely different compare from who he was then.
I don’t know, I guess you can say what you wanna say.
But you can’t deny he’s a good performer.

My opinion. Superstars who bitch about losing to people like Cena and not focusing on how to recover deserve to get burried. It just shows how undeserving of the main event they were. Those who can shine even when losing deserve to be pushed. Fans like a superstar and immediately hate the person who beats him without thinking long term if the characters are good enough to survive long enough. Nowadays they want any nobody to get pushed immediately because of fancy moves instead of actually thinking about how good the characters really are in promos. Thats why WWE is dying out. Random pushes and no entertainment value left. Most of the superstars cant make any rivalry look personal. And they cant even talk like they hate eachother. Yes we are fans and we can have opinions on it. But to some extent we need to trust WWE in choosing when, who and how they wanna push. While we may think we know whats best we only think short term and back the superstars we like. And when they get boring we ditch them as if they never existed. While WWE thinks long term about it. And try to find the one who will carry the company like Cena, The Rock, Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Batista and Undertaker did. What people dont understand is that when these legends get older you cant just let them job out. You need to pick carefully who get to beat them to maintain the special feeling. Imagine Undertaker jobbing out before his Big Evil character at Wrestlemania because his Deadman gimmick got boring. We wouldve never had that big Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker Wrestlemania storyline.

Story time:
For years in WWE, John used the catch phrase "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect". That was his brand, and he was obviously a megastar. There was another up-and-coming wrestler named Zack Ryder who was newish to wrestling and just trying to make it. He slowly grew in popularity. One day he found out that the WWE was going to start selling Zack Ryder shirts and sun glasses as merch. Which is a sign "you made it". Well Zack went on this radio show just to talk about WWE, and they asked him what does it take to make it as a superstar? And as he was answering he said "it takes hard work, dedication, hustle, loyalty..." and then he cut it off because realized he almost said "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect" which is Johns thing. Innocent mistake. Well John Cena finds out that Zack almost said the phrase "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect" on the radio show, so John with all his power goes to WWE and tells them to kill Zacks launch of the shirts+sunglasses merch. And they do, because hes John Cena, and Zacks a nobody.
FYI, John is a great dude. But everybody is capable of doing crappy things.
