A poncho is your best friend when it rains. Though a coaster ride in the rain is pretty epic.

We always pack those cellphone plastic holders that had a strap for your neck and they’re also great/easy for water rides. They’re cheap on Amazon. And packing flip flops is also a must. You can’t let the rain stop you from the fun in Florida!
And oh, I always pack a sweatshirt/jacket and keep it in my backpack (they have backpacks on Amazon that fit a lot of stuff but are still lightweight) because sometimes when it rains a lot (esp at night) it can get chilly!

We survived a constant rainy weekend 2 weekends ago by giving up after a few hours of wearing a poncho and trying to enjoy ourselves, but ended up just giving up because it was so cold and miserable. It was our first time there and we had just purchased annual passes for the whole family. We were going to do 2 days but hung out at the hotel the rest of the first day, and drove home the next day. We will try again in 2 weeks. We only live about 3 hours away.

this video made me feel a bit better. booked a week vacation for the end of this month & will be going to both parks. I know I can't count on the weather forecast two weeks out but it does show rain most of that week and of course both days we got tickets to the parks. 😅 thanks for the tips !

One thing to keep in mind is sometimes the weather app changes a lot. Last time I was there it said it would rain all afternoon and it didn’t until the evening 😅 But if it does rain, just come prepared with your poncho, extra socks/flip flops.
