“Journeying With Mary” ~ Women of Worth ~ 9/19/2024

While things were never easy on the journey after the diagnosis of NF1 and eventually cancer for our daughter when she was 5 1/2 years old ~ it became clear that through all the pain and suffering the Blessed Mother wanted and needed to be a critical part in helping Jean along the way. Being that she, too, was a mother who experienced much pain ~ the Lord wanted to provide consolation and a beautiful example of how to navigate through it all. The 7 Sorrows and Our Lady of Fatima, in particular, became an instrumental part of the journey ~ helping Jean to remain and draw ever closer to Christ-the Healer.
