Alberta eh! You can thank Trudeau for building the Trans Mountain Pipeline so that AB can now send oil to Asia at one million barrels a day. I didn't see Alberta paying to have the line built. They've been exporting oil to the US at lowball prices because they didn't have any other customers.

Not really accurate....the feds canceled the keystone pipeline and energy east pipeline. Alberta's companies do pay the federal government to use the trans mountain pipeline to BC ...that pipeline generates revenue its not free.

Yep. And blame Trudeau and crazies for the excessive cost. Never, ever is about the people who built it. And now we are expected to care about the o & g sector make a few less billions. The struggle in Alberta is real. 🙄

I blame Trudeau for screwing up the project in the first place, as well as all the damage it has done to future business development in canada 🇨🇦

I am quite anticipating that in the not to distant future 'we the people' of Canada will be called upon by federal and provincial governments to 'take it for team.' It will be like the 2 weeks to flatten the curve no doubt. I'm willing to put money on it. 🤔

Trump wants your minerals for security purposes, for both countries! Cut your regulations quickly! Even your European brothers and sisters need your fuel!

if canada refines their own crude we would be paying half what we do now. what an impact paying $60 to fill up instead of $120.

I highly doubt Trump plans to put a tariff on Canadian oil. He’s a blow hard, but he’s not stupid. He will carve it out. And if he does, while placing tariffs on our other goods, Canada should immediately put an export tariff on the oil.

How so? Trump even said he wants to annex Canada by way of "economic force". Seems like collapsing the Canadian economy under 25% tariffs would be a good start towards his said goal. This seems like more than a threat at this point.

I blame Trudeau for the economic mess we're in, but I don't blame him for Trump's reckless foreign policy. I expect Trump would put these tariffs in regardless who the PM was.

Maybe you need to understand how borders work. Canada is responsible for catching people crossing their border and the U.S. is responsible for catching people crossing their border.
Are you sure you understand what you are talking about? 😂

This is everyone's problem now. If Trump wants he could economically implode all of Canada.
