Big big discovery a few years ago and one of the best songs / albums ever imaginable in 2023. Takes you back to best synth pop era The 80's music spirit lives on. Perfect vocal overdubs and and least 4 or 5 killer singles could be taken from this record I find difficult to stop listening to. 5 thumbs up Brothertiger.

This track does a great job at conjuring the image of surfing.
In the first 30 seconds, you have the harmonica (?), which evokes lazy river vibes, and the panflute, which has this exotic, cooling effect. The synths are bright and sunny. This paints a relaxing water scene, but then the big percussion come along and tells us, "nope, this is an action scene!" That extra dynamic makes the track for me.
I adore that part from 1:47 to 2:14. It starts with a brief pause then has this triumphant sound, helped by the percussion. It feels like someone is trying to catch a wave and emerges victorious. Such a hopeful sound.
I also like the subtle pitch/modulation throughout--it makes the instruments sound "fluid", which is also evocative of water. Excellent decisions, overall.
I just realized the beginning reminds me a bit of Dreamscape by 009 Sound System LOLL XD
