But legit quick question. The bot, when faced with the situation at 1:41, had 2 options for a PC: TSD to single, or single to double. At 1:41, the bot chose to clear the single line first and drop the T regularly. But at 1:54, the bot was faced with a similar decision, and instead chose the TSD route. Why is this? Is it because it's flipped? Is it because of the time limit?
For the first situation, it had no other choice than to drop the I piece and then the T piece.
However, I believe the bot is more meant for multiplayer purposes, and for the second situation, it sees that doing the TSD into PC will send more lines than clearing a line into PC.

@@ironpro7217 yep, what you're seeing here doesn't use MisaMino. A perfect clear is always possible here, so MisaMino is overridden by knewjade's Perfect Clear finder to find PCs and execute them.

I'm gonna guess t-spins are sub-optimal because of time constraints. Soft dropping takes much longer than hard dropping.

How many points does a PC give? Would a T-spin/Tetris/combo strat get better score?
I'm no tetris expert, but I know some about AI. This is an AI, which means it tries many different things and learns what works best and what doesn't work. That the AI after having learned does that means that it's most likely the most optimal strategy. This might depend on what goal the AI has while learning, but based on the assumption that it is programmed to prefer highest score, each move should be calculated to give as much score as possible, taking into concideration probability of what the next piece is in line and what possibilities opens up with the various combinations of pieces, and how fast it can drop the piece to a desired location in order to not waste time.
In summary, a T-spin/tetris combo strat shouldn't give a better score, unless the AI missed something.
BUT an AI usually goes after probability, and doesn't take risks. So it might be possible to find a better strategy (Like tetris/PC instead of only PC maybe?) that requires a lot of luck.

@@xxfillex Actually, what you're seeing here isn't a neural network. What you're seeing here is MisaMino, which searches for all possible moves, rates them through preprogrammed values, then uses the best-rated outcome and continues searching. It doesn't learn from anything, it simply tries to get the best-rated move it can. Actually, scrap that. MisaMino doesn't even activate here: This is knewjade's Pefect Clear finder, which overrides MisaMino when it detects potential perfect clears.

7 piece bag randomizer, 5 piece next queue, the only pieces that are uncertain are the two pieces that aren't visible and it's only a 50/50 probability at that point. A human could even keep track of the pieces if they count to 7, but that'd probably be pretty difficult for most people.

Why this is impossible for someone that isn't a bot: Zetris automatically knows the next pieces and the programming can choose for him to make a pc. I'm pretty sure Wumbo would know how to do infinite pc like Zetris if the there were 10 more next pieces. Which there isn't, which doesn't tell Wumbo how to set it up and execute it.
