The current chassis w/ magnetic ride control gives you best of both worlds--you can have a softer/easier to steer ride in Tour mode, or if you want the suspension to tighten up and add weight to the steering, with more aggressive shifts, etc. in Sport or Track modes...you can definitely feel the difference.

My next upgrades are zl1 fuel pump for full e85 and then 20g uhf turbo and then save money for forged internals so I can turn up the boost and make around 450 wheel hp.
I have a 2013 Cadillac ATS4 3.6 and you could definitely tell the difference between tour and sport mode, but just in stock goes crazy. you think it would be a small v8 the way it pull and pushes. thinking of putting a 6.2 V8 in my car from Texas speed. may my engine stopped working millions years later... but this is my first car and we'll always be with me

In reality, carbon fiber is 'plastic', there is nothing luxurious about this material, other than it is very strong and looks better than ordinary plastic. The piano black has become very popular, that European car manufacturers use it in Mercedes, Aston Martins, Jaguars, BMW, Maybach and other high-end autos and no one complains... They have copied this American style. So why is Cadillac so viciously attacked for utilizing gloss black surfaces? If you don't like your fingerprints smudged on the gloss finish I recommend wearing driving gloves. Simple solution. Or does driving gloves seem too tacky keeping your fingers sweaty? Stop criticizing your American autos, and enjoy their rejuvenated renaissance. The ATS V has so much to offer an enthusiast driver compared to a BMW or Mercedes. Overall review a B+. Cadillac ATS V an A+.
The gloss black is nice however it would be nice to have some other interior trim options in case it's not your thing. Typically you'd have at least 3 other choices with other manufacturers.

The Renick Performance ATS-V numbers are conservative, I can tell you from driving these cars. Smoking Ferraris, Lambos and hanging with GTRS in an ATSV.

My dad bought me this car and I love it... I have the Audi S6 and I love my Caddie so much more... I hardly ever drive my S6. Ive been thinking about asking for the V series of I get good grades again and I most definitely will do everything possible to get the V series..
Lowered cars use it in case they need to be towed, can't hookup to stuff that has low clearances and wind skirts. And from my understanding, MOST tracks require you to have tow hooks.

I had the option between this Cadillac junk, bmw junk and lexus junk.. and at the time it made more sens to go with an American made car but it was a big mistake... once I had the car, as I paid more attentioni realized how poor the built is and low quality cheap materials used in it.. terrible suspensions … believe me this car is pure junk... u wanna buy mine!!!!

Also, the ATS is Cadillacs entry level car, and therefore the ATS-V is the entry level V. Don't expect Rolls Royce quality on an entry level car. I own a 2009 STS-V, and while it doesn't share the crazy power of the CTS-V thanks to the lack of a Supercharged LS/LT motor, I can still never get over how well Cadillac can make a 4,000 pound sedan handle.

In some respects, yes. But upgraded bushings and trailing arms does wonders for wheel hop.
The car drives magnificent stock. Modifying steering is spending money to worsen it
