Aquatic anthurium care tips to have beautiful flamingos in the house

- The Flamingo plant is otherwise known as an Anthurium.
The anthurium is a very easy-care plant. Its requirements are quite simple, and the plant will thrive in most indoor environments, if you follow these simple steps.
Anthuriums thrive best in natural, indirect sunlight. They like plenty of light and will produce more flowers the more light they are exposed to, but they do not fare well in direct sunlight, as this can burn the leaves. So the ideal location for them is dappled shade, out of direct sunlight.
Because of the colour and heart-shape of the spathes, Flamingo plants make ideal gifts for Valentine's day.
Flamingo plants traditionally used to represent hospitality, happiness and abundance.
Flamingo flowers are poisonous if ingested, and have been known to irritate the skin, so please handle with care, and keep out of the reach of children and pets.

Great job!!!! I'm trying to water culture my anthurian plant. I got this massive baby and took her to work. With weeks, her leaves were dropping, her flowers were turning green. I think it must've been the lights in the office, too much light? I don't have soil to repot her so water culture is the way to go. Thanks for the video!
hank you for watching the video. As her flowers age it will turn green, you can also trim off the yellow leaves to give her new leaves.
