Thanks for the tips!I had been looking at different types of these for putting plants in in my sun room when I happened to see a wall hanging but the price for buying them premade was well out of my budget! Living in a farm I have a plethora of wood and sticks and my father had a wood shop & where he did most of our own furniture before his passing I found not only polyurethane but also plenty of the stuff needed to create all I needed then my niece saw my iPad where I had several pics of patterns of mac I liked she fell and love and said she would love to have one for her wall in her apt! So after the pines were thinned & cut so the rest could continue to grow I took one of the large branches that were left by the loggers & using the polyurethane I found in the wood shop I ordered some cotton macrame cord & after realizing this was really just a larger version of the bracelet making I did as a child and again as an adult when I taught her to I began to prep for my wall piece which will not only be MUCH larger (4ft x 6ft) but much more meaningful having come from trees her grandfather planted by hand on a farm owned by my parents, and his uncle before & made by me her aunt who is very ill & while I know how sick I am I also know those younger don’t always realize this but having been with me through some of the worst she does. (I was hit by a drunk driver & left for dead at 25 while on my way home from a short vacation it was only 3:30pm but as I sat at the red light just a 100yds from my home a drunk driver plowed into my car having been so drunk he never saw the red light or my car he then fled the scene leaving me & the women in his car for dead. Due to improper treatment I suffered a lot of brain damage, an aneurysm & after surviving that with seizures & chronic migraines plaguing me almost daily 7ntil I finally began to get the seizures under control only to then have complications from internal organ damage 3yrs later that nearly claimed my life again another year spent finding and 5 more spent fixing has left me with many issues & a knowledge from both specialists that my life is limited. She was almost like a daughter to me I would help her with her homework keep her most of the time her parents were out of town or out at a party so we have been close & she still calls me before anyone else with happy news or if sick. So she will love this now just gotta get going to get her dine before Christmas Eve! Wish me luck!

I am a bit confused. How do I know which size rope to use for at which time? Am I missing something on the video? I have all the ropes cut to their proper lengths but that doesn’t help me to know what sizes to use at what time. Can anyone help me?
