    That drawing at the end was absolutely immaculate

    The area = 50 and 50 = pi x r^2 => 50 : pi = r^2 => 15,92 = r^2. And the square root of 15,92 = the square root of r^2 => r (radius) = about 3,99 (feet).

    50 feet squared is 2500 square feet
    7.07 feet squared is approximately 50 square feet

    Got it right, but stopped @ The arithmetic to solve for "r".

    I got the answer right by solving for 50 square feet.
    As noted by DERBY1234567 50 feet squared is something completely different, at least according to my learnin.'
    It is confusing when you denote square feet with what appears to be an exponent. The symbol for square feet should be a box followed by a ' .

    Was this an intro to physics? 😎 first thing in physics I learned is, check your units at the end. They don’t make sense, check your math 😎

    Why not just, √(50÷3.1416) ? Simpler for me but then I always got in trouble for not proving my work.

      No need for the parentheses. When the radicand is being divided by another number, you do it first, then you square root. It doesn’t matter anyways if you have the parenthesis, just pointing that out…

      @@spryplopX Yes, but it keeps me honest. I'm forgetful.

      @@spryplopX No. I'm out of school now. Just checking in to see what I remember and refresh the gray matter.

    next time when you discuss example finding radius see to it that the result is whole number.
