    what I love about Japan is you can totally have cheap hotel options that are going to nice and clean, and also at the heart of a commercial area. Not the case in most countries I visited :P

    Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights when I went to Japan (after seeing this video). And was planning on moving hotels initially but ended up extending, because it was honestly awesome. It's super convenient and the staff is really friendly and helpful (Also I don't speak japanese, but there was no language barrier)

    This is one fancy awesome looking capsule hotel! it is a bit pricey, but cool indeed, the lockers are double the size (in height) than most of other capsule hotels and hostels I have been to in Japan, so this is really good and you can keep lots of shopping there which was really hard for me in a regular half size locker.
    I will put on a wig and lipstick and try my luck staying there LOL ;)

    Japan looks like a dream country for introverts I noticed in a lot of these capsules hotels you have your own privacy but at the same time you can socialize with people as well it suits very well for introverted people who want to have their private rooms

      Bit of a late reply. But you can take big suitcases. And they keep them on the ground floor for you. If you want to repack you can take it to the lounge area and do it there.

    • @DonnyDaison
      @DonnyDaison 7 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      When you travel Japan, big luggage is a bad idea unless you are staying in one hotel the whole time. Most of the capsule hotels will have storage, but its more for small sized luggage of bags. I traveled Japan for 1 month with a small backpack, and im so glad I did, because I know a lot of the places I went didn't have enough room for large size. I had to do laundry every 4-5 days, but pretty much all of the hotels and hostels had laundry machines.

    • @DonnyDaison
      @DonnyDaison 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I spent roughly around $5000.00 CAD for one month, and this includes staying in Tokyo, and then travelling south by Shinkansen to Kyoto, then Osaka, and then flying to Okinawa, and then back up to Tokyo for one last Hoorah. The flight from Vancouver, B.C. was about $800.00 CAD round trip (which is pretty damn good in my opinion). You can find some pretty decent hotels for around $60.00 a night if you look for deals on your phone (weekends are usually more expensive than that)but the hostels are always cheaper. There were some hostels in Osaka that were about $15-18 a night. Food can be both cheap and expensive, if you want healthy cheap sustenance you are looking at about $7-8 for a good meal at a Yashinoya or similar chain. My most expensive meal was about $80.00 for a course set wagyu beef dinner at a really fancy place in Akasaka. Entertainment is really expensive, the best clubs cost about $35-40 for guys to get in, but being a single white male, trust me, its totally worth it. I have never had so much fun at a club, the Japanese girls just love the white guys, haha, I went every weekend, it was too good, I will not even mention what kinds of crazy things would happen ;) ;) ! I also went to Disneyland and Universal Studios. I did a lot! I have so many stories to tell from my trip, and amazing things I can't write about in one sitting. The people are so friendly and wonderful, and its such a magical place. Its the kind of trip I will remember fondly for the rest of my life. It was a true adventure and my heart felt so full at the end of my trip.

      She's an ectomorph. You can tell by her slim figure. Ectomorph's have a very high metolism and don't gain weight easily.
      I know so because i'm an ectomorph as well and i lift weights. So it's very hard for me to gain muscles

    • @taw2377
      @taw2377 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Sophie yes exactly! I'm naturally thin and even before I started working out people would ask me how I stay thin and I was like??? I don't try? Now I lift weights/work out about 5 days a week. There is a difference between being an ectomoroph and being a person who works out and sadly many people don't understand that- the truth it everybody's bodies are different and not all thin people have to work for it

    I'm laughing at people in the comments. They are all like 'omg I love Japanese culture😍anime is so good👍' Japan is so much more than anime and manga but a lot of people don't realise that. They plan to visit or move to Japan just because they liked one anime. I'm moving to Japan when I leave school but I have done so much research into the culture and everything.

    Hi Kim, thank you for this video. I'm traveling solo to Japan and this capsule hotel is adorable. However, the hotel has a cleaning policy of which the guests has to leave the hotel between 10am-4pm. It sucks tho! Because for guests who are jet lagged and wanted to stay in to rest, that's not an option. Can't use the shower facility because they are off limit for cleaning between those hours. Did you know that?
