Thanks for including what he ACTUALLY ATE ! Whenever I watch these videos I’m always wondering why my kid won’t eat what the kids on TH-cam do but I am sure most of the time it’s because it’s easier to show the pretty/original plate and not the half empty one at the end :)
Not gonna lie I thought I was the only 1..i was starting to worry about my son and I thought he was way behind than other kids..hes 11 months old and he's rly picky an sometimes sick when he eats food..i have to mix everything together or give him tiny pieces of certain foods for him to eat.
This makes me feel better. My son is 11 months old to, and I can not get him to really eat food. I see some many babies on TH-cam and the videos make it seem like they eat like a horse where as my son barely touches it. Makes me feel like I’m doing everything wrong. I guess that’s why they say don’t compare… I don’t mean to, but it happens. Lol how are y’all’s babies now? Are they eating better?
@@stephaniegail1994 it's soooo hard not to compare to other Moms and their kids! I'm lucky enough to have a really awesome pediatrician who will walk me through the questions I have and she never gets annoyed by the million questions I ask. So if you are ever worried about your kiddos and their eating habits get in touch with your pediatrician, they can help put your mind at ease.
Have only watched 1:43 of this video and you're already one of my favorite moms. Too many times we see the moms who kids eat perfectly every time and everything they are given. Your realness is a breath of fresh air and so relatable! Thank you!!!
I’m a first time dad of a little boy about the age of your kid when this was published. Thank you! This video has tons of value for me and totally the type of dad that reads endless amounts of anything to do my job better. This was far more helpful than the bulk of all that.
Your doing great dude. My younger sister is a single parent from birth.. It isn't easy and I'm like running around trying to help where ever i can. reading things and watching things to help the little blessing😇... As i say. Well done!!
My little boy just turned one this month and it has been a STRUGGLE with him and food! 😅 Thanks for the ideas girl! 🧡 always coming through at the right time!
Thank you for including what he ACTUALLY ate!!! I appreciated you giving me different tricks and I never knew about exposure therapy. Now that I think of it that makes sense. I’m struggling a bit because my older one is such a good eater and focuses only on eating during her meal times. But my 15m old is the opposite. Shows no interest in eating and cries when hungry and stops eating after a couple of bites.
I have been going thru the struggle of feeding my 1 year old & it has made me feel so much better to know that I'm not alone through the struggle. Thank you❤
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this video. I love the way you break his meals down as far as 1 thing he will eat, 1 thing he might eat, and 1 thing hes never eaten. I learned so much and you gave me so many wonderful ideas!!!
Showing what he actually ate was so relatable and real, thanks for being so honest, you go mommy.... Feeding struggles are for real but thankfully we almost all in this together 😀
I always love seeing what other toddlers eat and find it so fascinating. Since she turned one, my daughter has been pretty much eating whatever we’re eating, minus stuff like raw fish or runny eggs 🤪 She really loves all the fruits and veggies that I offer her, but typically has a hard time with meats, like she doesn’t even always like chicken nuggets. However, 9/10 times if she didn’t eat a meat at dinner she will happily eat the leftovers the next day at lunch 🤷🏻♀️ feeding kids is hard and often doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Thank you, I love the fact that we actually see what he consumed and not just what’s on his plate. I have a underweight 1 yr old who eats just like this but doesn’t gain much weight and I don’t want to force him.
Spaghetti, peas, eggs ,toast, mash and gravy. French toast w sugar free syrup.Bananas, greenbeans, coco and cream of wheat with toast. Ravioli, applesauce in cottage cheese is a favorite for most. Mac and cheese ,berries, grilled cheese cooled and cut into small bites. Chicken noodle soup with crackers after crackers are soggy. Cooked broccoli in cheese sauce, and cauliflower. Yogurt, sweet potatoes. Tuna casserole, If they can chew and swallow it it's all good.
I absolutely LOVED this video! Not only did I get good ideas for my 15 month old but I appreciated the fact that you told us what he ACTUALLY ate out of every meal you served him because it can seem somewhat discouraging at times when I watch other TH-camrs feeding their toddlers and not show this part. Makes me think my child is the only picky one out here haha! Thanks for this. Please continue making these!
Oh my god thank you soooo much for the honesty. I used to watch TH-cam vids and wonder how on earth those babies ate all the food the mums show. I was disheartened as a first time mum. What my baby eats in a day YEAH RIGHT?!!! Thank you so much!!💚💜🖤🧡
A little sprinkle of salt can help flavor up cucumbers. As a kid I hated plain cucumber, just too plain and watery for my pallet, so my mom would add some salt. Same with apples, my mom would add cinnamon to them (plus it helped to cover the browning)
This is the video that this momma NEEDS! It makes me feel good to know that your baby doesn’t eat everything because I tend to be hard on myself thinking that my daughter may be sick or something! I have new food ideas I’m going to use thank you for sharing!
I love this video! I’m a first time mother and ever since my son turned 1 I’ve had the hardest time with meal preps , because I don’t want to expose my son to grease and unhealthy foods so this helped a lot !
Love the practical recommendations: this is what I offered vs what he actually ate. And the encouragement that feeding kids is hard and at the end of the day a fed and happy baby is a job well done
He’s such a cutie pie! Yes to exposure of different foods! They can try them or not... but something they like and something new is awesome! When my kids were little their daycare did same! Great job Kallie!
Goals.... my babe is 12 months old and so far I've only given him yumi/tiny organics.. Just now spreading out to making things at home. I'm no cook but want him to have healthy meals. Thanks for the inspiration!
Please do more of these! My daughter is 4.5yrs but she’s special needs and feeding has been one of our biggest struggles, I feel like I’ve tried everything so it’s nice to get some new ideas! 💜💜
Your an amazing mom I love your honesty and the fact that you state all these relatable and very true sentiments concerning motherhood it won't easy preparing healthy meals for kids but I absolutely love your videos
I love this!! Makes me feel so much better about our food journey here. My daughter is 10 months old and we’re making progress. Today she ate so much, which made me super proud!
I haven't had any toddlers in my house for quite a while but I love your videos so I wanted to watch this one. You're such a good mom and miles is adorable. And I 100% agree that feeding your kids is so hard. My youngest is 11 and already has body issues and doesn't eat very much which is super stressful for all of us.
This was so helpful. I’m a new parent to a 1 year old. I find myself cycling between the same meals and it’s been tearing me up inside. Really need and want to expand his food exposure and freshen up what he eats. There’s so much to being a mom and running a business while caring for a household that I feel that much of being a mom gets slacked on for me. So, tonight I’m trying to make a list of choices for me to have for my son to eat. This way i increase the male I cycle between in hopes that I’ll feel like a better deserving parent....thanks for this. Been a rough night as Im sure you know what thats like. Doubting whether you’re good enough, if your doing enough, and comparing yourself to others...
Mine will eat just about anything, but I sooo appreciate this video. Always looking for ideas for new foods to feed him and the realism of what you feed him/ what he actually eats is so refreshing.
Thank you so much for this video. You have no idea how much you helped me not be so hard on myself. We just transitioned off formula and this week has been hard on me feeling like my baby wasn’t eating enough and panicking that I have been doing it all wrong, it was really nice to see this. Thank you 💕
Kids eat sugar anyway naturally.. whether banana apple etc.. why introduce their taste buds to ketchup and jam? It's pure sugar and garbage. It's giving their memory a taste of it for future.. they'll eat it eventually..or never.. but then again your catering to white audience.. Americans etc can't live without bacon ketchup or fast food. Kids eat what parents eat and it sad. Seems like you grew up on ketchup and jam too.. however it's a disservice to young kids to correct theirchange eating habits as adult since you engraved on their brain that sugar tastes better. Not sure what ur PhD taught u... must b American version with coca cola on side w McDonald's
i appreciate your ideas, now i can see why its been hard to introduce new foods to my son,,, you have an amazing bond with your son and it shows that he enjoys trying new foods, godbless.
Most informative best toddler food video I’ve seen in a while thank you for this my daughter is 14 months and as I have an eating disorder I’ve been struggling with meals and ideas that she’ll actually eat, I never thought of making smoothies for both of us I know she’ll love them and I’m excited for them too thank you!

This is super helpful. It's a struggle to feed my son new things. Sometimes I feel like I'm not doing a good job introducing him to different foods. Thanks for the tips. I'm going to keep trying the things he spits out and not feel bad when I can't get him to try new things.
This was so encouraging. I've been feeling like full on failure because I keep trying and failing stuff for my 1 year old to eat. But I am thankful for some of the comments you've said and also this example! :)

Thanks so much for the realness in the intro, I hit the subscribe button because of how detailed you were about the process of getting them to eat - I feel like alot of moms don't include this. I thought something was wrong with my 1 year old. But I'm gonna try to expose her to something she doesnt like, over and over again so maybe she will eventually eat it!
Thank you for sharing how much he actually ate. Too often I read or hear moms say they’re kids ate an avocado toast or spaghetti and meatballs and I’m like how? My 1yr old is doesn’t clean her plate ...Am I doing something wrong.. so seeing this is a relief that other kids, like mine, take only bites of some things and it’s ok 👌🏽 and may finish certain foods and it’s also ok
thank you, as a mom of a 13 month old who's struggling on finding foods to finger feed him I just puree bc I'm scared he won't get full 😭😭 I appreciate it
Thank you for sharing food that real people might actually feed their kids! I feel like so many of these videos are staged. And thanks for saying what he actually ate too!
Love your veggie pancakes idea! My 1 year old loves Whitney Ports banana avocado egg pancakes and they are so easy to freeze. I add in ground flax seeds, oats and cinnamon. Highly recommend
This was the best video on what my toddler/young child eats in a week. So many great ideas and put together so well! I need one of these each week LOL....packing preschool lunches is always a challenge for me!
Thank you so much for this video! I thought my son was the only one who had a hard time eating to find out it’s normal. Also thanks for the new recipes 😉😊😊
I know this video is old, but I'm hoping you still read the comments. First of all, pretty sure you are my spirit animal. Sooo many SAHMs videos portray this perfect world & toddler and no mess. I wonder every night if there is a more efficient way of cleaning up after my son's meal.....so i'm wondering, what is that bib that he used?? Its like a smock almost! I'm destroying baby clothes left and right with stains!
Thanks for including what he ACTUALLY ATE ! Whenever I watch these videos I’m always wondering why my kid won’t eat what the kids on TH-cam do but I am sure most of the time it’s because it’s easier to show the pretty/original plate and not the half empty one at the end :)

Thank you for posting this video! My 16 month old is so picky and I have a hard time trying to decide what to make for her to eat

Thank you for this video. The first 2 mins really made me feel so much better. I always feel that I am doing something wrong

My 1yr old is doesn’t clean her plate ...Am I doing something wrong.. so seeing this is a relief that other kids, like mine, take only bites of some things and it’s ok 👌🏽 and may finish certain foods and it’s also ok
idk why, but I really like looking at him drink his smoothie down 😆❤️
omg, I love you. My son is 2 and dislikes all food but I am going to try some of your tips on Liam and see where it goes. Thank you for this.
Woow and he is only one year old!! He seems so much older. Great job momma!
thank you, as a mom of a 13 month old who's struggling on finding foods to finger feed him I just puree bc I'm scared he won't get full 😭😭 I appreciate it
Please tell me how you managed 😢, I am in the same situation right now , please let me know your update 🙏
Thank you for sharing food that real people might actually feed their kids! I feel like so many of these videos are staged. And thanks for saying what he actually ate too!
I’m going to try your approach of putting one thing you know he will eat.
I appreciate this kind of content and hope to see more! I'm going to attempt to change my daughter's milk schedule like Mile's.
Love how realistic you are!!! I don't have babies....but will use these tips one day lol!!!
Girl i love y ♥️♥️♥️ you’re so honest and y said all what i had in mind
“Chicken tostados” 😂😂😂 but great ideas!
Lol 😂 reminded me of when I used to work at Taco Bell. “Can I get a spicy tostado” 🙄🤣

Tostadas lol great ideas tho!
I was looking for this comment 🤣
@@Carlie_flower omg! me too LOL
I want you to make my meals 😆those look yummy. Now I need a snack
I just read an article that said it takes 6-15 times of your child trying something before they will put it in their diet. So yes exposure is key
Awesome video. Thank you so much. My toddler is suddenly a picky eater at dinner time so this is really helpful!
Thank you so much for this video! I thought my son was the only one who had a hard time eating to find out it’s normal. Also thanks for the new recipes 😉😊😊
Wow I always have a hard time on having variety
I love your ideas just a little bit of everything and new items too
I know this video is old, but I'm hoping you still read the comments.
