Very helpful thank you. Im just confused on the layers part. Can you explain again what was the purpose of changing the "Active Layers" and "All Layers" options up top and why?. Thank you
Thank you Adan. When "Active Layers" is active, you can only access the content on those layers that you have first selected. However, when "All Layers" is active, all content can be accessed immediately regardless of what layer it is on.
Aug 14 2021, great tutorial thanks for sharing, excellent info, cleared up a lot of confusion, top menu, normally don't pay attention to it, I will now !
Thank you. Very kind of you to say. Yeah that Options bar running along the top of Photoshop is pretty awesome. Also be sure to keep an eye on the Properties panel. Adobe keep shifting more options into it in many of their major programs.
Hello, I am trying to understand how to deal with abrupt changes in paths direction using the Direct Selection tool. The video helped some, but the shapes were very simple. Any advice?
When having to draw and/or manipulate a more complex vector path, designers will generally turn to Illustrator. The good news is that many of the tools and techniques used in Illustrator can also be found in Photoshop. I mention all this as you may have more luck finding good tutorials in this area by looking at Illustrator, not Photoshop, tutorials. Does this answer your question?
@@MichaelBullo Well I was just wondering if you'd be willing to help me out with Photoshop, and of course it can be whenever is convenient for you. Is that something you could do?
Thank you very much for this information. Really helpful.
Hey that's great to hear. Thank you.
Extremely helpful... It would have been wise of me to watch this video yesterday that spend hours inefficiently hacking round. Thank you.
I know exactly how you feel buddy ;) Thank you.

@@frankye02 Excellent. Have a great day mate.
Do you offer online classes?
I don't but it's something I'm interested in doing. If you have any suggestions or feedback I'd be happy to hear it.
