The chaffinch courtship dance (part I)

A chaffinch male is here performing a courtship dance. This is a mating ritual used to attract the female. He sings a melodious song and shows off his colored plumage. In this first part, the female is holding in her beak some fur for their nest (the fur is from a badger who was killed in the area by a fox)
