Great video! I've played the heck out of final fantasy 7 & 9, metal gear solid and crash team racing.
Some of the rarest pal games to keep an eye out for include buttsubushi (the Australian release), and gta double feature.
Defiantly have my eyes out for that GTA pack, aus exclusive. I dont wanna pay top $ for it however

Heyo Figsy! Black label PS1 games are getting tougher to find in my part of Canada and the prices have skyrocketed. I paid around 20-30 bucks a few years ago for RE1-3 each and now they're 80-100+ dollar games which is crazy to me, as these games sold really well and were all over the place. I did snag a few cheap ones recently, one of which is called Gunfighter: The Legend of Jesse James. It's a fun rail shooter with GUNCON support, I wish I had one of those and more of the Time Crisis games.
There are definitely rare PS1 titles I've only seen once or twice in years of collecting, like the Tomba games, Street Fighter EX1 and 2, King's Field 1 & 2, Castlevania: Chronicles, Alundra 1, and Strider 2. I wish I bought a copy of Strider I saw years ago, but even back then it was brutally expensive. It's an awesome game though, and at the very least worth buying on PS3 PSN and playing it on a Vita if you can.
I dont wanna go back and pay $200-$300 for games I didn't grow up with, amazing as they are:( Its crazy that games that had a greatest hits run, can sell so expensive
@@FigsyGames I agree, it's too much. My limit is around a 100 for "rare" games, any more than that and I just can't justify it. I'd love a copy of Alunda 1, but I don't want to pay 200 for it, haha. Even before the pandemic it was insanely expensive.
It's also nice that a lot of rare/expensive games are on PS3 PSN, you can get Castlevania: Chronicles, Symphony of the Night, Tomba 1 & 2, Megaman Legends 1 & 2, Strider, Alundra, Tron Bonne etc for like 5 dollars a pop. They look amazing on a Vita screen if you have one.

I didn't know about it until a friend mention it in a lot I bought, Not a cheap game
So for the longest time, I've always thought of the Cool Boarders series as a trilogy. But then when you showed your copy of Cool Boarders 4, I suddenly remembered seeing that game on display all those years ago... I guess memories are funny like that :)

I found out literally the other day, that if you put your thin spine PS1 games backwards in your collection they say 'PlayStation' instead of PAL haha which is such an odd design choice.
Also, I'd suggest looking into Disruptor! An FPS that was actually the first game Insomniac ever made! Crazy weapons and a fun time

At the moment I have experienced same thing that I do not see so often PS1 games than maybe one or two years ago. I have a couple of odd ones like Galerians and Vampire Hunter D.
Collecting is very popular these days, PS1 games disappear very quickly

Worms: World Party, Tekken 3, Tony Hawk's 3 most played games. Resident Evil 3, Metal Gear Solid best games ever.

Its Resident Evil : Survivor your missing. i just picked it up recently, just be patient its expensive these days. I believe its a light gun game.

I usually pick up ps2 and ps3 games from sellers there now and then
god damn haha. that hardcore 4x4 game i remember as a kid not getting alot of pocket money. i saved up when we had a ps1 and the first game i ever bought was that game. i got cat fished so bad. the back cover of the game made it look like it was going to be the best thing since slice bread. sucked complete ass. and becuase as a kid you cant really complain or even return it i just kept playing it and ended up enjoying it regardless of just how bad it was.
