it still surprises me how Boston, a relatively smaller city (compared to other larger metro areas) can still have a better transportation network then Los Angeles or San Francisco!
It's mostly that there was a large precedent for it previous to WW2 from the NYCentral, NH, and B&M, along with the educated population there was alot of people who made sure that a robust (up to debate) rail system was kept in place. This is especially helped by the fact the mbta intentionally majority owns it's trackage.
@@zacklightning3277 hmmmm I see. Here in San Francisco we would never have a proper one transit rail network. There are like 5 rail operators like srsly?
Interesting video. If I could make a suggestion, make the captions stay on screen longer. 2 seconds isn’t enough time to hit the pause let alone read it.
Great catch on the CSX locomotives! Beacon Park Yard is now empty space and possibly, a new MBTA station would be built there for local residents.
The graffiti on the fuel tanks 13:15 had me do a double take
4:08 That’s a great view of the cab
Great to see you’re posting often again!
Those are some great catches. I very much enjoy the commentary that goes along with the footage.
It's awesome to see all of your great catches in one video!
The 3:58 looks like a cab, but it’s like a car as a cab
