Aw, this is making me feel a little better. I'm selling almost my entire collection today for money since i lost my job and I have to move into my car. Rare anthurium, albos, rare scindapsis, but I can always get more and rebuild and I can live through others like you with videos like this in the meantime. Being an adult sucks! 😪
being an adult does suck! Your circumstance doesn't define you, and like your plants, you're resilient! I personally find my plants have taught me more about life and myself than I anticipated. I hope you're able to take some of those lessons and apply them to this next, hopefully short, chapter of your life! I sincerely wish you nothing but the best!
Aw sorry that happened. I’m going to pray for you. Call on the Lord and he will give you rest. You totally right you can and will rebuild. I don’t know if it’s helpful or not but federally and state wide there are funds to address the issue of housing insecurity. Maybe Salvation Army or catholic charities or local government building might have resources to help

My cissus discolor didn’t grow one single leaf over the winter but it has grown to 6-7 feet over the summer on my front porch in Texas. It even gets some full sun. I’m chopping now to bring in for the winter. Just hoping for it to live again over the winter. It’s a beautiful plant.
How does it do through the winter? I bought one this spring and it was super happy outside as well. I just brought it in yesterday bc it’s getting chilly here. 🇨🇦
I have the same exact turtle issue!! Once I started wrapping the whole trail into a circle on top the pot mine has exploded and noticed it actually growing bigger leaves!!!

I find that polynura does not like terracotta. I had one propagation in terracotta and one in plastic that were both cuttings with no growth point and similar amounts of root and the one in plastic grew way faster. I think because it has thin leaves they really like to stay moist.
My string of turtles thrives in south window in a plastic nursery pot in a cover pot. I notice a lot of my plants hate terra cotta 🤷♀️ I think I’m to much of an under waterer. Lol!
I have a polynera albo for my birthday from my 24 yr old daugther and she have 2 leaf and i check when u talk about yours she have 6 leaf how is that posible i have this plant since aug 18 i guess is a quick grower
Anthurium Veitchii definitely the first species i would get if collecting this breed i do prefer the narrow form one. They are a hard find and cost alot too. They definitely grow better in a green house i think than outside they like high humidity.

me too! All the leaves on top are big, all the hanging ones are small. Not a good look.
