What other items do you carry in your tool kits that I may be missing out on? Let me know! Also, If you like the video don't forget to subscribe! Thanks!
Great video… I will be using your format for my kit except I will be using a waterproof tool holder. Thanks for all the tips, I especially liked your long screwdriver attachments for the air box. Good thinking.
The wire is a great idea! Didn’t even think about that before. I didn’t mention in the video, but I do keep a flashlight and multi tool in my tank bag.
I don’t have a direct link for it, he sells them from his Facebook account. If you join the ‘Aprilia Tuareg 660 Owners Group’ and search for Ivan Gligorijevic. He has a few posts about the axle wrench he makes.
At Harbor Freight, I picked up *2* 1/4” drive sockets, and then picked up a deep screwdriver bit set and then superglued the bits into the socket so they won’t ever come out haha
@@pinnacleroofing9841 I’m happy with it, however there have been other people on forums that prefer other brands. There’s a Tuareg owners group on Facebook that has some good posts about skid plates if you are looking for more options and other viewpoints.
Just curious, with your current kit what the diameter of the pinner roll? Debating trying one to stuff in the back bottle pockets of my reckless 40 thanks
The diameter is a hair over 6” with all the tools inside and rolled up. Overall circumference is 16”. I know it won’t fit in my tusk bottle pockets, not sure if the mosko ones are bigger. Hope it helps.
@@jawnyou On trips I keep it in the left side saddle bag. There’s still room in that bag then for other camp items still. On daily rides I keep it in my Nelson Rigg tail bag. Still room in there for other items as well then.

Thanks, got a few new ideas from your list 👍🏻
Glad you found it helpful!
A telescopic magnetic pickup pen, really helpful when you drop a bolt/nut on the trail into the hard to reach places.
Great idea! I happen to have one in the garage. I’ll be sure to throw it in the kit.
Awesome list, thanks!
Thanks for watching!

@@AstronautAdventureRiders Me as well, and a Swiss Army knife. (Never know when you'll need to open a bottle of wine)
@@jprvmail9733 Can’t forget that! Would hate to be stuck with a bottle of red you can’t open haha

@AstronautAdventureRiders - what skid plate do you have on there? Just bought a 660 and need to replace the stock one
I’m using Outback Motortek
@@AstronautAdventureRiders do you recommend? Or wish you'd have picked something else?

Maybe some spare fuses?
I had not considered that, good idea!

@@AstronautAdventureRiders super useful thanks a ton. If its bigger than an msr bottle it def wont fit in the rear r40 pockets for me.
