- Panther Creek Falls is one of North Georgia's most popular waterfall trails and for good reason. It is a little over 7 miles hike through beautiful, green mountain forest to an astounding waterfall with a sandy beach area to cool off in on those hot summer days. It is one of the best hikes in Georgia and it is a great introduction to backpacking trail. There are multiple great primitive campsites along the trail. If you are looking for something to do in North Georgia Panther Creek Falls is a great trail with a beautiful waterfall. Definitely worth checking out!

A nice 7 mile hike and an nice early start but I prefer the weekday hikes, real quiet. It sure was peaceful and nice when you do not run into other people on the trail, having said that, a rattlesnake....seriously! The Falls were great and a brilliant place to cool off on a hot day, cheers Alan

That looks like an amazing area. We hiked to a Panther Creek Falls in the Cohutta Wilderness Area but this is a different waterfall in your video. We haven’t visited it but I’m adding it to my list. Thanks for posting! And it appears you came close to seeing a rattlesnake. 😮 Of the two I’ve encountered they were just casually crossing the road and when I approached for pics and video neither time did they become defensive so I didn’t get to hear the rattle.
It's a pretty cool area! They shut down this trail for a few years after we made this video. It's open to back up now!
Crazy how most of the snakes don't really get too aggressive they just try to stay out of our way! Most bites are probably on accident someone stepping on them without seeing them. Which is kind of scary the bc they're extremely camouflaged!
There's also a panther Falls we did a video on that one as well. A lot of these waterfalls share the same names which is kind of confusing 😅

When we got home we found out someone had died of dehydration on that trail the same day we did it. We seen a lot of people that day hiking in blue jeans and long sleeves with no water. Since when we've carried extra water in case someone needed it. Actually gave water to people on trail that day. It was extremely hot.

OMG SNAKE 😖😖😖 SO SCARY! I don't blame her for not crawling in the whole. Could be a rattlesnake den 🤷 haha but really I love the sound of the water throughout the hike. So very relaxing! Such a beautiful place!

Used to camp here all the time in high school! It was crowded back them also, such a refreshing waterfall at the end of the hike! Nice video

LOL "... not gonna pay rent anymore, just live under this bridge" ... not gonna lie, trolls seem to have a pretty decent quality of life (depending on the bridge, I guess...) But seriously, what a nice and relaxing hike (except for the rattlesnake😬), I love that you can just hear the creek the whole time. And then those falls?? Epic.
Haha yeah that bridge seemed to have everything we needed running water and pretty sure there's plenty of food in the woods! 😂 it was a really nice hike and we really enjoyed the fact that the river ran beside the trail the whole way! And a Beautiful pay off at the end! Thanks for watching!

We drove by panther creek falls park on Saturday of labor Day weekend, counted 85 cars on just one side of the road, and. . there were more on the other side of the road. Can only assume the actual parking area was full as well. Most likely 200 cars. The trail is mostly narrow. I can't believe anyone can have a lot of fun on the hike with that many people
It's an extremely popular Trail definitely try to get there on a weekday if you can or be the first person there. It was really packed when we went but the trailer is pretty long so people are spread out. Thanks for watching!

we live near a lot of camping sites here in Upstate NY so we kinda camp on our own property all summer but I would love to go visit Panther creek I just have to watch out for the panthers LOL

This is great and very timely...we are headed to Georgia in April! I noticed a few other states you made videos of thatvwe are traveling in as well. Yay! This trail reminded me of one of the trails at Silver Falls State Park in WA where we walked behind the tallest waterfall and hiked on similar terrain. Thanks for sharing!

We are going there this summer!
It's a really nice Trail make sure you bring lots of water in the summertime. The day after we did this hike a girl did the trail and die because she was dehydrated. Just be prepared and you'll have a lot of fun! Thanks for watching 🙂

Your forests are more beautiful than ours. Our mountains in Colorado are just higher. We are too dry. We have forest fire every year. We have 4 forest fires now. We can smell the smoke in Denver.
