Stuart, your youtube channel is the only one I follow. I watched an earlier video on the Bullet and I was so impressed with your passion for it that I raced out and bought one. No regrets. I also watched a video on the Interceptor and once again I went to the bike shop, test rode it and immediatley bought one. No regrets. Recently your review of the Scram impressed me very much so as I went back to my bike shop and as before, test rode it and bought that too. No regrets. I have no more room in my shed so that is that. Uncle Stu videos are great.Trip Machine are marvelous & I got a black suede seat & a messenger bag from Trip Machine.New Interceptor is actually the Mk3,Mk2 was 1968-70 & there was a prototype 800cc Interceptor called Mk2a in 1970 but owners Norton Villiers closed R.E down after the 800cc Interceptor was tested next to a Triumph Trident & was just as fast & owners Norton Villiers saw it as a threat to Norton Commando in American market as Americans preferred the tourqe of the R.E so shut it down.

I really love how the C350 looks, but since I also live in Colorado I should probably get the INT650. It's not about going fast, but altitude sucks 3% HP /1K ft = about a net 16hp bike that only goes lower the further west. If I were at lower altitude I'd get a C350 no problem, but the C350 won't make it up to the high country and I'm a little disappointed because it looks great. Maybe a FuelX Pro would help, but I just gotta pony up for more ponies to really enjoy Colorado. An INT650 is 38hp in Denver and 32 in Breckenridge.

I have a pair of Diablo throwover panniers on my Meteor. They not don't need a pannier rail according to Hitchcocks. They are smaller than this set of bags. The only downside is when they are fitted you loose ease of access to the grab rail. This makes it a little awkward putting the bike on the centre stand.

Still nursing the engine 'til it gets to 1100miles, so no hard acceleration or speeds over 50mph., but still pretty impressive. Stay safe🏍
Working on getting a bike sorted in Thailand and I keep returning to the Classic 350 as a potential ride. As it would be my only transportation the ability to carry items is a concern. It's good to know that there are options when it comes to bags. I had been wondering if soft bags would work using the fender braces as guards and attachment points, now I know, thanks for that. I think Warro in Australia has managed to mount a set of Bullet pannier racks on a Signals 350 with little, or no modification, something worth looking into.
I’m in Nepal and loading these machines up with way more than what we should is a very common occurrence here, so much torque they barely notice, I do however feel it in the rear with the shockers bottoming out, I’m currently looking around to see what’s available locally as an upgrade but not to compromise with ride comfort when I’m riding solo.

Took it out hiking where I'd wish for padded leather straps for the shoulder, however it would usually be stuck to the motorcycle anyway and work as a backpack only for short distances usually. Thanks for showing this bag on your channel. Eventhough I ride a Honda VT600C which is more on the custom biked side rather than a British classic, the Tripmachine bags are a superb fit. Already got the tank bag, two small paniers and now the outlander. All very nicely made. With the Tripmachine boots on my feet, alltogether a very stylish ride!
Great video Stu. Loved that you featured the Classic 500 in it. A better, stronger and faster bike than the 'All New 350', which only and just very recently sadly replaced it. Just my view..... 😮💨
So question regarding the torque specifications for the upper bolts on the rear shocks… According to Hitchcock’s the torque on this bolt should be between 32-38Nm. However, when fitting to genuine RE canvas panniers and racks the little spacer that goes between the brackets and the grab handles leaves some disconcerting play in the handles. Without just “torqin’em down” as many have suggested does anyone have an answer as to how tight is too tight? I’m currently at around 47Nm but I can still move them but with much more force required. Just don’t want to be flailing myself around a corner and have one sheer off…bad day! Thanks in advance for any help.
Hi Stuart, do yo think you can install this bag on the same bike but without the pillion seat??? Since i like the looks much better without it. Thanks for your much appreciated help!!
Good helpful video and I like the look of the bag. Not too impressed with Trip Machine's return policy. 7 days and you pay the shipping to India. Worth checking before committing, or maybe go to Urban Rider, but they don't stock the whole range. Thanks for the review.
Hi Stuart. This is not related to this video but I have a question for you. I remember you review the 350 Classic Reborn and saying the suspension was hard to adjust. I have been having a 'discussion' with Hitchcock's over adjusting suspension with the added pannier rails on. Without the rails I can do it okay being careful not to scratch the paint as you mentioned. With the pannier rails I find it all but impossible to go more than one click higher. Hitchcock's say they have tried and can do it and I should expect to have to remove the rails to adjust it as it is aftermarket, like a headlight screen. I say this is ridiculous and everybody should be able to adjust suspension without removing the rails. I just wondered if you have tried? As the suspension is hard anyway, few people have probably tried to do it. I regularly carry a pillion and gear so have to adjust it on a weekly basis. I would love to know your thoughts. Thanks for reading this,. Cheers. Graeme.

Hi Stuart, thank you for your informative videos, I really enjoy listening to you and you manage to create a really nice atmosphere that makes me want to get on my bike and enjoy a slow ride. One point of criticism: Hearing the mouse clicks in the background took my imagination away from the images to your workstation, maybe you'll want to find a way to soften them.
Off topic, but WALES is reported to be going reduce speed limit from 30mph to 20mph on ALL roads in built up areas, and not just near schools and on housing estates.
The trouble is people make up their own limits. The local paper has just had a report on a rider reaching speeds of 185mph! He had an accident, of course, and is deceased. His mate, riding with him, has been jailed for speeding etc. The report said his bike would only do 150mph! How sad. But here in Lincolnshire every Wednesday night you hear bikers passing our village on their way to meeting up at Willingham Woods near Market Rasen. From the sound of their engines there is no way on earth they are observing any speed limits!
@@ChrisJohnson-pd4hh I agree, speed limits won't prevent the mindless idiots from speeding. A blanket 20mph limits from one end of a town to the other could arguably increase noise and emissions as people will select a lower gear.
@@ChrisJohnson-pd4hh to be honest, I’m not a big believer in speed limits, to me it’s always ‘ride to the conditions’ if there are kids around, like a school or a playground, then I slow down, if I’m riding in a ‘built up’ area like a residential street or near a shopping zone, then I slow down, loose gravel, wet, oily, icy roads then I take it carefully and ride within my own ability, I don’t need the government to be my nanny. Sometimes I exceed the posted speed limit to quickly overtake some halfwit who is driving erratically or without concentration, so I reduce the possibility of getting involved in their impending accident. And yes, sometimes I’ve copped a fine for doing that which of course upsets me because it’s impossible to prove that what I was doing at that time was actually improving my chances of survival, just cop it sweet but protest like hell when ‘they’ try and impose blanket speed limits.
That guy wasn't hanging about down the avenue of trees, and did I just see your chin!? Anyways, that does look a super bag, especially on the 350. I'm tempted, especially with your discount, thanks. A useful tip with that protection film too, thanks Stu 😁

The outlander looks like a really handy bag to have and is well suited to the 500 and 350, thanks for the review Stuart. I wonder how the bag would sit on the Interceptor with the upswept pipes. I toured for many years with an old army kitbag which was easy to pack and easy to strap on along the pillion seat and onto the rear rack. Unfortunately it makes it a little uncomfortable for any prospective pillion. Cheers
Good day from New Delhi! I was wondering if you ever had the opportunity to ride a "Bullet 350/500" - not the Classic but the "Bullet" (UCE) model? The difference between the two bikes can be seen with the seat- a Classic has a separate and removable pillion rider seat whereas a Bullet has a single seat which covers both the rider and pillion seating.

Excellent review as always. I've got a question for you Stuart since I think you still have a Bonneville, do you think this bag would fit on a Bonneville T120? I like the capacity of them but just wondering if they would be a good fit. Thanks for all that you do for the motorcycle community.
WARNING! I was so impressed by your review and the chance of a discount (who doesn't love a bargain?) that I ordered two. I flinched only a little at the price, but was impressed by the quality and a £60 odd saving. I didn't even notice, as I payed, that they were shipping from India. There was a slight delay as they were out of stock but they were to be delivered yesterday. Waited in all afternoon but they were still half way round the world. 6.30am I receive a text demanding £91.69 import duty and vat. Turns out not such a bargain after all! I post this comment not as a crtisism of anyone, but myself, more as a warning to others who may get swept away by the excitement of buying something new and shiny. Even at my ripe old age there are leasons to be learned. Oh, and I won't be buying those nice boots from Tripmachine.

Thank you for sorting out another discount code 👊😎👍
Brilliant video as always Stuart and that is a perfectly formed bag for all seasons 😃👍
As usual an outstanding job. Thank you
So question regarding the torque specifications for the upper bolts on the rear shocks… According to Hitchcock’s the torque on this bolt should be between 32-38Nm.
Stylish and practical - and the luggage is pretty good too! :))
Thanks Stu' for another great video. God bless, and ride safe mate.
Love your accent ! ……. And the video ….all the best from Dublin
Enjoyment of well made products
What is that music in the background? It's very relaxing.
Good helpful video and I like the look of the bag. Not too impressed with Trip Machine's return policy. 7 days and you pay the shipping to India. Worth checking before committing, or maybe go to Urban Rider, but they don't stock the whole range. Thanks for the review.
Владею точно ьаким же мотоциклом..подскажите пожалуйста что за боковая сумка у вас...уж очень понравилась ...хороших дорог
Cheers. Graeme.
Cracking looking bag stu👍🏻
Muy lindo vídeo. Me encanta el cuero y esas alforjas están excelente. Saludos desde Mendoza Argentina
Great looking practical bags, and might I say that's a cracking watch, bet it's automatic.
Thank You. yes its a RADO reissue of the 1962 Captain Cook Dive watch!
@@stuartfillingham Thanks for the info mate I'll now be dropping my wife some serious hints about gift ideas for my next 0 birthday. Forever the optimist me.
The watch is almost as much as the bike! LOL
I got a pillion replacement carrier but it didn't fit perfectly, had to use some sort of extension clips, why do you think this would be the case?
Great video! Darn...I missed the discount code ;_;
Excellent review, I've ordered an outlander using your 15%discount code. Diolch, Hugh
beautiful n much meaningful.....love from kashmir (India)
Off topic, but WALES is reported to be going reduce speed limit from 30mph to 20mph on ALL roads in built up areas, and not just near schools and on housing estates.
And so when are the mighty Welsh people going to change this stupidity?
Quality video and quality kit. Thanks Stu. May I ask the brand name of your Jacket?
superb...love from Kerala, India
Lovely add on well done
What’s the top speed of classic 350? And what’s the cruising speed? Is it enough for your western roads? Isn’t it slow?
That guy wasn't hanging about down the avenue of trees, and did I just see your chin!?
Anyways, that does look a super bag, especially on the 350. I'm tempted, especially with your discount, thanks. I do have the roll top backpack/pannier already, which I love. I thought, when it arrived, that it won't be the only piece of their luggage I buy! A useful tip with that protection film too, thanks Stu 😁
Yes first time I've actually seen my face in 35 years. Quite a disconcerting experience when I look in a mirror!
@@stuartfillingham Wow, that is a long time! A friend of mine tried it once, but soon grew it back 😊
@@stuartfillingham Having shaved off just twice since I grew the beard back in 1980, I can relate! Last time I did so (10 years ago), my daughter made it very plain that she preferred me with! It becomes part of one's persona and without it I felt undressed.
Cheers
I believe Trip machine show it on an Interceptor on their advert.
Thanks Stu.
Hi where did you get the coffee gift set please ? Great show
link in video description.
Should you have mentioned it before I apologize ... Could you please share with us which helmet you are wearing?
They are Royal Enfield brand most RE dealers should have in a few different colors.
Uncle Stu owns a Bullet 500, since a lot of years ago !
New look Stuart?!...beard gone to gillette heaven?! 😉👍😎
I shave mine off on occasion in a fit of “yoof-full” exuberance.....then I get reminded of all those extra lines that have appeared and the burgeoning pelican gullet!! 🤣🤣....it’s back within the month...ish!! .....👍😎
Excellent review as always. I've got a question for you Stuart since I think you still have a Bonneville, do you think this bag would fit on a Bonneville T120? I like the capacity of them but just wondering if they would be a good fit. Thanks for all that you do for the motorcycle community.
Beautiful bag but 289.00 US dollars for one bag before shipping us a bit steep for my wallet.
Great video as always, what happened to the hair and beard 🙂
Another great video… which sparked a debate between my group, we would appreciate your input on the subject. Do you think that the red/gold stripe on the front and rear mudguards are paint or a decal?
base paint, vinyl coach lines, sealed with automotive lacquer.
@@stuartfillingham Thank you brother… in this case, I may end up wrapping mine. Keep the awesome vids com’n 🤙🏻
I really enjoy your videos
Do the straps allow for two bags to be mounted on a bike?
If you put your flask in the rear pocket it'll stay hotter longer. Just sayin'!
Off topic Stuart, but did you see the Welsh Goverment's announcement of a blanket 20 MPH speed limit in towns? The end of freedom is very close now.
I did! bad news indeed!
@@stuartfillingham In my town the council is going to build a housing estate on the car park! This means that the only way to access the shopping centre is by bicycle, bus, or on foot. Thank God I am old and have lived through probably the best period of humanity.
I too am an old git with a fondness for Royal Enfield. Quite possibly, maybe, by a stretch, we have lived through the best of the good times. But what marks their end wont be a poxy 20mph limit. There are much better candidates out there for that title. Its morning, its too hot and the news is always crap so I get it, but c’mon……..

Awesome Stuart.
Molto interessante, tutto molto bello.
Complimenti
Hello thank you for this gread vidéo it's a very nice bag that you show us.but i would really like to know if the royal enfield brakckets fit on the classic 350. Because here I know no one who can help me.😞✌️🇨🇵
I don't believe they do.
Which brackets do you refer to Alain?
@@SteveRobertsTheNurdler Hello I am using a translator and am afraid that it is badly translated I am talking about royale Enfield saddlebags supports that Uncle Stu has on his 500✌️🇨🇵
@@alain7338 They are available on ebay...... just make sure you search for classic 350 reborn. The 350 500 ones do not fit
Hitchcocks motorcycles sell them with a little bracket that means you can fit the 500 classic rails to the new 350, got them on my bike now. they export to the world.
Good show uncle Stu
This may have been asked before...what helmet and bubble shield are you wearing here?
They are Royal Enfield brand most RE dealers should have in a few different colors.
Hi Stu, I'm looking for a solo rack, rack to fit on rear mudguard for my classic 350 any ideas.
Me too, don't want pillion seat.
@@jamesdevlin6373 the dealer took it off for me before picking it up, put black touring seat on as didn't like the brown.
I can't thank you enough for the wonderful videos Uncle Stu.
I find it wonderful how you have a great narrative in your videos because more often than not I listen to them as I'm driving down the road in my truck/lorry/LKW.
Later when I park I tend to watch again to get a good view of the subject matter, as I obviously don't watch while I drive😂.
Again many thanks and Cheers from somewhere in the Carolinas 🇺🇸
