Mark… hope I spelled that right 😬 made some good points, but I think my opinions about it land a little closer to Simon’s. I do agree the characters were forgettable, but I did appreciate the simplicity of the storyline… until the end. I felt like the movie would have been better off if it ended just before the man child was born. Maybe, that could have been a really cool deleted scene, but it felt unnecessary to the story. I enjoyed it enough though & would probably list it as 3rd in my franchise list as well. Solid review! 🤘🤜🥊
Thanx for tuning in mate! It's been a long time since the franchise made a good film and Romulus was exactly what the fans needed I think. I'm really looking forward to the Alien Earth tv series! 🤘

first off hate to correct your misguided friend there. but, the only cgi there was in the movie was the deep fake of ian holmes character rook. the rest was all done with practical effects and also the offspring toward the end was also, practical. the person who played the monster at the end stands over 7'13 and is a basketball player in highschool still. i really enjoyed the movie and seen it 4 times now. i give it a 9/10. #ROADTO3K also the actor who played the android brother, Andy improvised the line during filming. he was originally supposed to make some kind of dad joke but, he felt it would not fit in the final battle that was supposed to be on a more serious note. alvarez agreed and so, they kept it in the movie.
yeah I saw photos of the basketball player that played the offspring and it weirded me out. He has the exact same body type 😅 I also did see a video that talked about Andy improvising the line. I think it was exactly the type of movie the franchise needed. Kept it fairly simple. Cheers Joe 🤘

Really liked Prometheus and Covenant. Know I'm prolly in the minority on that one. But still.
_Prey_ wasn't that good... it was FREAKIN AWESOME 💯
I think it went for about 2hrs. I enjoyed Prometheus, but didn't like what it did to Alien lore. I loved Prey and really excited for the next one which should be out soon! 🤘
I really love kes Romulus. It's my second favorite in the franchise now. My Alien movie I can't stand the most is Alien 3. Horrible story, the worst effects in any Alien movie where the CGC Aliens looked pasted into the scenes. A story that ruined the storyline from Aliens. I did like a few of these characters. I did care about the pregnant women surviving although you knew she wouldn't. I liked the creepiness of the Alien Man Child at the end. This movie has a proper horror feel to it. I'm glad it wasn't a cookie cutter one person vs a Xenomorph at the end. Leave that badassery to Ripley. I liked that they didn't make a Ripley clone moment with another actress. The "Get away from her, you bitch" line was crying though. It felt forced. Overall though, I really enjoyed it. 😊😊🙏🙏👊👊
I rewatched all the Alien films last year and yeah, in HD, Alien 3 effects were SOOOO bad 😂 I think Romulus was the exact type of film fans have been waiting for and needing. Cheers Gazza! 🤘
