Happy to answer for you. Yes the strap is held on by the two studs and it is quite easy to lift and reposition. Maximum strap drop (where I use only one stud) is 59cm, and shortest strap drop is 45cm.

The leather is quite thick but very smooth. Light scratches can be easily buffed out. Since the leather strips have no paint sealing the edges they are more prone to wear and are more visible on the back of the bag as it makes contact with the body more. Only visible if you look up close. Also, when storing the bag make sure it is not in contact with anything else because it will dent if something is left poking it while on a shelf.

How the durability of the leather? Does it scratch easily and show marks in the black color?
