Thank you so much for this!! I’m making one about double the size for Mother’s Day. I bought nice yarn and a stockinette bandage to line it before stuffing and everything. Finally at the 20ft mark I realized I had no idea how long it should be or how to tie the damn thing 😂
My tube was 6” when flattened and looked proportional at 22ft, so maybe shoot around there. I lined it with a stockinette bandage before stuffing (highly recommend for larger projects so stuffing doesn’t poke through) and it’s almost double the size but beautiful!!

Maybe the stuffing is easier, when you stuff it after only a few inches. :-)

Can the tube be too long or too short to make a knot? I don't have a pattern, so I don't know. My tube is 5,2 inches wide..
You can make a knot with any width and length.

How long does it need to be?
In the video she says 150 inches which is about 12ft
