Jim Harbaugh giving away his money is a sign of the true leader. Folks will say that it is an empty gesture given how much cash he has. But it is something that will meaningful impact real people and you don’t hear of other coaches doing that. It will impact all of the MI sports not just football. A very very tremendous leader. Why is skene always in a car lately?

But, but, but that throw behind All was not the right throw anyway. Its not just the mistake its that he had an open receiver that he missed even though he wasn't pressured and it could have been a big play if not a TD. Also, bailing out of the pocket when there is no threat HAS to stop. But Cade is a good leader and does improve. Having said that, eventually JJ will pass him not just because of his superior athleticism but because he will be the better quarterback. JJ also has great leadership qualities which is evidenced by his humility and patience. Its all good but sometimes Balas is just to0 big of an apologist for Cade.

I agree. UM is winning despite poor play at QB. An interception waiting to happen.
For the record, I didn't say that Michigan is winning despite poor play at QB. I don't believe that the play has been poor. But it could be better and it has gotten better as the year has gone along. I just don't want to act like Cade has played GREAT. He has played well and is a good leader...which isn't bad. He has his deficiencies which Gattis has adjusted to and put him in position to succeed. Josh Gattis is who should be celebrated for his coaching this year.
Agree, J.J is a weapon at quarterback. Alabama has it in Bryce Young. He can wing it, or beat you with his feet. Cade can’t do that. We need J.J in there more against Georgia to have a chance
Skene was very kind to Chris for his misguided attack on those who criticize Cade-but he did go a bit out of his way to set the record straight. Cade is a fine young man and a terrific leader but his QB limitations are as obvious as his goodness.

Cade is a good leader. I'll definitely give him that. But Michigan is gonna need more than that in the CFP. That pick he threw was rushed and he threw it behind with zero pressure. Plus it was the wrong read to top it off. If we need some heroics from the QB in towards the end of a game. I do not trust Cade at all to win us a game. That's not asking to much out of a starter if it's gotta happen twice a season. He needs to calm down in the pocket. Sometimes it's like he doesn't trust his O-line when they give him great protection. Like the game moves to fast for him randomly at times. Georgia will end us fast if he's not sharper if we gotta depend on him more than usual. .
Agreed for most part. We really need to get J.J in there more to threaten them with his running . He is a weapon we will need if we have any chance.
