Wow we were in Yepoon in 2014 and did not see that amazing water park, we were either blind or its build after 2014. Need to get back there. Awesome video thanx guys Cheers Johnny&Rene
Very good guys brings back memories when we were last there. Only 1 bad thing - I had our push bikes on the back of the van ready to head off in the morning where someone around 2am thought they needed the bike more than us! Apart from that Emu Park & 5 Rocks was great! Can’t believe people have a go at you the way you start a fire!! Safe travels😊
Another great video guys thankyou!! Looking forward to watching this trip, 2 vehicles and 3 kids never a dull moment for you guys! Enjoy and safe travels - Cheers
Luuv Yeppoon. Lived there back in the late 70’s/early 80’s. GKI was just beautiful. It’s a bit sad these days by comparison. Had lots of trips to Stony and Five Rocks. Great area.
This was such a wonderful episode ❤ thank you so much for taking us on your adventures around Yeppoon! Its so fantastic to see you guys out exploring 😊
😂😂😂 I love your bit when you say stop giving me sh#t about lighting fires. Rumpcaps yummy 😋. & After all the years from the beginning of watching I'm still enjoying your vids👍. I got your book last week 👍👍.
Keep up the good work, Yeppoon has come along way since my last trip, get yourself a small propane gas torch, and save the hassle, lights fires easy as pie. Regards Tony
We use Zippo Tender Shreds. Probably the most expensive on the market but you really only need a couple as they burn for a lot longer. Another great video guys. We are heading off soon from Brisbane and heading to Yeppoon. Have not been there for over 20 years so really looking forward to it......
How’s it going gang . Justin have you tried a gas canister with a burner connected same as you use for shrinking electric wire protect 😊 to light your camp fire cheap as one canister will light a lot of fires.
Fun video guys! Looking forward to seeing you guys exploring the water next week. Also wonder how you will fill in the WA Highway scenes up to Exmouth without being able to pretend to pick Bec’s nose now that she will be driving!!!
Hi mate my 2 bobs worth I have not seen you try Samba firelighter Gel white bottle red label 1lt doesn't flair up like fuel. Great vid keep them coming
Hi Justin bit of advice please we had a diesel heater in our last MH didn’t use it much we have a new MH on order but a diesel heater is now $4000 would the air con used for a short time in the morning be ok will have a good bank of batteries and solar
whats the plan are you going to keep the 200 as well long term? The 300 is a great looking rig but the 200 set up wins hands down for me, I think you will miss it .
Question for all - If you had 10k to 15k to buy your first van what would you buy ???? Would love to be able to travel from Melbourne to Broome and back and do some dirt tracks and beach camps (not 4x4) Also have about 10k to buy a first 4x4 and was thinking to buy either a triton prado or pajero Any thoughts and tips would be great
@@TripInAVan thanks very much for the reply , that's exactly what we are looking at to start out pajero and jayco outback model to start the adventure and get us out there , cheers
TBH at home I use firelighters because what you said. My wife thinks I was mean to you. And she knows what Bec means about staying inside the cossie, though I’ve never seen her swing from anything.
Hi guys, watch all of your videos and have absolutely loved seeing the places you have visited. My husband and I have a caravan and a Nissan patrol two tow it with. We recently had our van and Ute weighted to be compliant with the rules and regulations, only to find that we were grossly overweight when fully loaded with all the fuel and water etc that we would need to free camp. Upon removing stuff from the van, we have begun to realise how stripped to the bone it would need to be. The truck also needs to be stripped of many things. I am wondering just how compliant everybody out there on the road is. I have not seen any videos addressing this issue, or is it just the elephant in the room that no one talks about. I believe the fines are quite substantial if you are overweight in any of the departments. Can you address this in a video or even in an answer to myself? Cheers, Sue
Oii old mate you couldn't light a fire to save ya bloody life ya flaming gallar.... if you don't have any kinderling you can always use your empty tampon packet to get it charging Cheers bud 🤙

Our kids loved the foreshore at Yepoon. Great place for all ages. 😊
It really is!
Great video, I've only just found this channel from watching your video on installing a diesel heater. Very enjoyable viewing. Really loved it .
Thanks mate, cheers for the comment

Hi Justin bit of advice please we had a diesel heater in our last MH didn’t use it much we have a new MH on order but a diesel heater is now $4000 would the air con used for a short time in the morning be ok will have a good bank of batteries and solar
The diesel or gas heater is definitely way better for heating the van in our experience. But yeah the aircon would work, just very thirsty on heat
What do yous think of the esperance roof top tent? Im keen to get rid of my simpson 3.
Haven’t slept in it yet but it’s a ripper to setup and looks to be good quality
Love your work guys. 🍺❤️👍🇭🇲
Cheers mate
Good to see Bec drive, love your videos.
Thanks so much
You will have to give us a rundown of the 300
Yeah for sure, trying to use it for a bit first so I have some experience to give you’s a rundown and comparison on the 200/300
I'm 62 years of age .
If you adopt me, I can help with the kids and dishes!

Yellow mustard is best binder for rubs.
Great tip Thankyou
Good job Bek. The new rig and the Spotify 😅 Jst wondering who’s going to have the gate opening job with 2 rigs can’t take off on the kids or can ya
😂😂true. It’ll be the kids job for sure
Just chuck the whole box on the fire...might work well 😂
Might as well hey
whats the plan are you going to keep the 200 as well long term? The 300 is a great looking rig but the 200 set up wins hands down for me, I think you will miss it .
I’m so unsure hey. The 200 is the perfect touring rig for sure
I think the 300 is a loan car
Awesome
