When me and sister were kids my mother was the most abusive person physically and emotionally my father always defend us but when they got divorced they granted full custody to my mother and father knew what was happening to us and he always came and defend us until my mother put a restraining order on him and I couldn’t see my father she abused us until we left home so now I am big advocate for men’s rights because the justice system failed me and my sister and left us with scars I miss my father he passed away last year he was a great man

I see this woman; I see my mother. She was in the same situation. My father was not paying child support, my mother couldn't afford the mortgage on our house alone. My dad was a good father but horrible husband that barely paid child support. All his money when to his "family" in Vietnam. I see this woman I see my mother. It looks like this woman's situation was worse, her ex and his relatives ganged up on her and didn't even care about the boys they would make homeless by evicting them. My mother always had this look in her eyes that said she'd kill me and my sisters just to get back at my dad. She once tried to commit suicide by drinking 409, got taken to a mental hospital for a week. She used to take me and my sisters out for late night car rides and tell us stories about mothers committing suicide with their children by driving the car over a bridge. Other times the car rides would be to my father's place of work late at night and waiting there, constantly calling him. I was scared for years of getting in the car with my mother. I'm still alive and I do see the situation my mother was in, but I can't forgive her for putting me and my sisters through her and my father's bs. My father's dead and sometimes I miss him and sometimes I hate him! Like I said he was a good father but only when he wanted to be and when it was convenient to him. The father of the youngest and the family that was going to evict her and her sons added fuel to the despair this woman was feeling. I hate the father and his family. She was cornered and had nothing to lose. I just wished she had not taken the boys' lives. RIP.

There was NO excuse for her to try and kill her children. We all go thru problems in our life: some don't hurt others and work thru their problems; and others takes it in their hands and hurt and kill others. I don't feel sorry for the mom, she knew what she was doing. I feel for the 2 son's, they didn't deserve what she done to them. If{ and i did say if} they survive, they will always wonder why their mom did this. There is way to many children being hurt or killed because one of the parents wants others to suffer,etc. She could of got help, but she chooses to do this to her own sons.

And the landlord of the place she was renting was her sister in law. They refused to pay her the money rightfully awarded to her by the court to get her life together and tried to kick her out and the boys out! By saying some bs about kidnapping them back to Vietnam. It’s insane married people put kids into their disputes. I wanted a divorce prior to kids and my wife at the time claimed she wanted to the marriage to work. Fast forward and now with kids we still are not happy. I let her file and to get the ability to relocate back to her home state she claims domestic violence. Married 18 years and never an incident and yet she gets the relocation based on her claims of DV. Then in turn to hurt me more since she knew I only cared about my children-she tells my children I beat her and beat my kids when they were young. Haven’t seen my kids now in almost 6 years. All lies on her part but she hurt my children almost as much as this woman trying to kill her kids. Let kids be that-just kids. They don’t belong in adult drama. Life is challenging enough without having a traumatic childhood.
So sorry you can't see your children. Your absolutely right children should just be children and not brought in to grown up stuff. Sadly a lot of people don't get that.

Cases like these put me to the other end of the spectrum where i felt stripped of my victim rights and the childhood of my boy was just destroyed. It is very sad. That's what typically happens when you turn your back against family and community. When things go wrong and you need help, there's no social safety net or person to talk to. She felt trapped and had no one for help. This is especially true for Asian Americans because they're a minority group. it's harder for them to make new friends or ask for help.

I think she might have depression. My friend had it after giving birth to her baby. She always thought about death, suicide, and wanted to die with her baby. Thankfully, she has a great husband. If her husband divorced her, I can't imagine what would happen to her. It took around 3 years for her to walk out of that situation.

Because he had evidence to prove she may take the child out of the country, so the court suspended the payments pending further hearings.
And they ex sister in law was losing rent money on a property she is still paying a mortgage on, and mom was making no effort to seek any type of employment, other than trying to sell false eyelashes online.
Mom had no means to support or provide basics for their children, dad did.
By rights the children should have been given to the father, and when mom got in her feet, she could have made a motion to switch custody.
But she was having none of that, and those innocent children suffered her decision.
This is beyond heartbreaking. I have all son's and they are my strength seeing the little boys little faces even though I'm not their mother I wish I could protect them. I hope the pain haunts her all her life and she never gets to rest in peace even after she's dead.

Her action is wrong but please don’t judge someone motives without actually being in their shoes and situation. I’m not condoning her and fully disagree but she was in extreme pressure of being evacuated with her 2 young kids. We don’t know what kind of attempt she tried obviously she did because she killed her son just the day before the evacuation date. She is hopeless and depress. She needed help but her family is not helping her but evacuating her. There’s so much on her plate.

She was renting from her ex sister-in-law? That makes her the aunt of the boy's. I realize the "mom" owed a lot of $$ in back rent, with that being said she was also evicting her nephew and his 1/2 brother. The Aunt's brother (the *father* & *ex husband* ) owed the mom $220,000 dollars and support from the divorce settlement that *he had not paid* sighting that he was concerned that once she received the money she would leave the to the Vietnam and/or the Philippines and not come back? They had a standing agreement (also through the divorce) that she could take the boys to 😊 Vietnam evey other summer break to visit with her family. This summer was the one that she could take the boys to visit and their divorce was in 2018? (aprox) Ofcourse she couldn't pay the rent. The news stated she was trying to start her own online eyelash co. How was the ex-husband able to get away with not paying her the money *he owed* from the divorce settlement and then his sister was evicting her and his own son? How ridiculous. 🤨He recently filed an order, taking her back to court with the claim I mentioned above to stop her from being able to visit Vietnam at all with the boys. Sounds like mom was having multiple issues happening at once.

Maybe if we reach out (atleast try) when we notice our family, friends, coworkers, neighbors.. etc, are struggling. When people are in distress emotionally, mentally, physically, financially etc, I believe small gestures can help and maybe even stop many of these tragic situations from going this far off the rails. At any rate and at the very least someone can say they tried to help out (instead of there being *no one* even attempting, saying or doing anything) It's heartbreaking. There had to be some *signs*

usually with child support thats owed,, state garnishes the parents checks automatically and usually with interest. if they failed at paying, state will take away the parents license away..then they go to jail for unpaid support. they lose custody as well.seems like she was trying to scam the fathers. marry get pregnant divorce get money from the marriage and children.but she freaked out when sht going to plan. got mad and shot her kids as revenge. so she never cared for her children obviously. she use them for money period.

Serious reform needs to be made to these children custody battles. The courts usually allows too much bullshit when siding with the mother's. And it's always the kids who suffer's the most. And in certain cases, cost them their lives. Poor kids🙏🙏🙏

Okay so now another piece to this sick puzzle and a psychopathic/sociopathic mother kills her two sons; because of a custody battle.
Well, one thing she won’t be able to use as an excuse; is that she was insane. Notice she didn’t kill herself.
These children murdered because of her selfish ways and the fact that two adult parents obviously couldn’t come to an amicable agreement together regarding co-parenting these children - that would or could have saved the lives of these children. Or one that may have been capable of providing safer conditions for these children (and quite possibly had kept them alive). If only, the authorities had taken them out of both of their parents hands until a just settlement could have been reached. While we have no information about the father. I would imagine that no settlement would have been just for mother; at this point; because she in essence said no to any and all possible case scenarios by killing her children. Their lives must have been sheer hell - in the hands of this maniacal deranged murderer - who happened to be their mother. Justice needs to be swift and she never should see the light of day; if not, the death penalty. You do know that mental hospitals are worse than jails? The father of those children are also at fault he didn't pay the agreement. He probably wanted full custody so that he didn't have to pay at all. She might have felt hurt and and took revenge on her ex husband. I'm not defending her but man have to understand that not every women who feels cornered will react reasonable. This whole case is nuts I'm surprised she didn't kill her ex husband. But it's also very hard to understand why she didn't have a job and fought in court for the money. She could have downgraded to a smaller house and applied for rental assistance. The court should have put a social worker in to help her get resources. I'm sure the hardest thing is living knowing you killed your own blood that to me is worse than jail or being in a mental hospital.

Then he has his sister evict her with her children(and his) so she's broke, no way to defend herself, about to be homeless, will most likely lose the one thing she loves most and she probably snapped. People can only be pushed so far. People treat it like she was being vindictive but I don't think so. I think she mentally snapped and with good reason. Had the ex just worked with her to make sure her and the kids would be okay things would probably be very different.

This is actually interesting for me, 12 years ago I would have said "this woman is pure evil, no good mother COULD EVER do this" My partner of 10 years is both Vietnamese and Chinese, I don't want to overshare but I have now experienced how incredibly messed up marriage but ESPECIALLY divorce can be for older Asian generations....all I can say is I understand how someone can go from a loving (or not even loving but forced to marry) a person, to an unhappy wife, to a divorcee who feels like the world is out to get her in almost an instant. I have literally seen the effects a husband and his family can have on an ex-wife in an Asian household (not to say it only happens in Asian households) and how it can drive someone to almost feel like no one is on there side. It is tragic, and again I am not saying we should feel bad for her but that I simply wouldn't be surprised if during/after her marriage(s) certain things could have occurred that led to her slowly loosing her sanity.
That’s what I’m seeing. She lost her mind because of the family’s abuse. She was wrong, there were other options, especially since the non-Asian families the mother and kids spend time with could’ve helped. But, I’ve seen how closed-in and desperate my friends can feel because the husband is a bastard and his family is encouraging his neglect and gaslighting by saying the wife should be grateful for “all he does.” The wife pays all the bills, gets the groceries, has and raises the babies. The guy is a useless man child. It’s enough to drive a person batshit. I wish she would’ve reached out to friends, like my friends did. This is tragic. I was hoping that they would make it even though it didn't sound like it. My child's father would joke about taking my daughter out of the country before she was even born. I found out later that he had two DUIs and I was secretly relieved when his drunk womanizing self took off to be another person's problem. I'm also glad we didn't marry because that causes needless problems like this family seemed to have. It is potentially worse for a dad if he is a good father, wants custody, and isn't married. I can't imagine the pain the father/stepfather of these boys is feeling.

The ex sis in Law evicted her and her kids out of the home. She is probably stressed out with no support system and no place to go and immediately support her kids. The daddy appears wealthy and holding power threats of money over her kids so she might not ever see them again. In an act of desperation, she probably shot her kids in either protecting them from an abusive father and-or his relatives or if he threatened to take them away from her she obviously had reasons to emotionally go to the deep end and mentally her best solution in a highly volitile situation was to end her kids life and remove them from this ugly child custody of events where usually the party with the most money can fight it and hire the corrupt attornies to where a chain of events will happen and that rich party ends up with custody. If she was a bad mom, it would have been proven in the courts already by documentation and police reports. In her mindset, she did not want to be seperated from loving and protecting her kids especially if the biological father is an abuser and his money can influence the courts that he is a perfect goody two shoes father when in fact it is an outright lie.
