Alternative shot is a tough format, why don’t you start trying to break 40 Texas scramble and then when you can work it down to where your consistently breaking 36 switch back to alternative shot?

Doesn't break 40 mean score under 40? So you needed a hole in one on the last. Disappointed you didn't get it.
it certainly does but a lot of people get touchy on here when you mention it, you don't break a world record by equalling it do you.

Awesome content gentlemen love the channel. Not in a negative Nancy just have to remember to club up on some shots it can be easy to hit your yardage of a mat and tee box but on the course we all fall short I started keeping track of my short shots and began to club up even if I was a little long I still would end up closer to the dance The only times I don’t club up is water beyond or out of bounds you legends are getting better love the break 40 and halfway shack reviews

Love these break 40 videos! Love all of em to be honest, i started because of the channel and I'm about 8 weeks in 2 lessons and I'm hitting 7iron around 110rds 🎶 golf life is the only life we know 🎶
Guys ,love your optimism, but how do you expect two 14 hc golfers playing alternate shots, to break 40 ?? You both aren't suddenly going to turn into 5 hc , so why not try scramble ??

Should’ve played it to the finish lad’s and then try and better it next time I met Declan Rice in the petrol garage I called him Mr Magmotional and asked him when he was going to be on golf life with tubes again even though we had beaten Leon the night before I think I was a bit Flustered 😬 Nice one lads ⚒COYI ⚒
You really need to call this Make or Break 40 because breaking 40 is 39 so you didn't need an eagle on the last you needed an Albatros (hole in 1 on a par 4). As 14 HCPers on average you are shooting 7 over per 9 holes so trying to cut that down to 3 per 9 your best option is doing a scramble format rather than alternate shot. Love all the content keep it up

I like this series. Just so you know, when playing alternate shot if you have to take a provisional or play 3 from the tee, the second player should actually play that shot. it's the same if you hit it out of bounds etc, the partner should play the following shot. (Rule 22). Essentially, you play a shot, take a penalty and now it's your partner's turn, so if you take the shot again you're playing out of turn. Easy to miss or not know as you're "correcting your own error".

Only thing I’d say is try not to give to much away in the title, I see quite a few TH-camrs do that and I always wonder why.
