I got myself the RGB version and for anybody buying it...first the light if you attach a reflector has a dark spot in the middle, so if you use this light you need to use it with a soft box even then you will probably have a darker center depending on the soft box and its layers. The second problem the led diodes are not protected so you have to be really careful when using the light there is a higher chance to get burned or to damage the light diodes. but for the money it is still usable and it is weird that the battery attached is more expensive than the light ,
I bought the 120W bicolour light but it didnt come with an AC adaptor and i have no way to power it without buying expensive V mount betteries. I want to run it off AC please, like with a DC adapter,. PLEASE HELP! Also what is the 5 pin connector for on the light at the bottom? UPDATE: ULANZI REALLY CAME THROUGH! They didn't answer emails but they DID send an AC adapter that works the light perfectly, and the light is fantastic. Bright, easy to control, a nice range of practical colours and EASY to figure out how to work it. With the AC adapter its now a very practical and affordable solution to my studio. So glad I bought it. Now if only I could log in to my account at Ulanzi and do a good review there.
V-Mount ? It's a industry standard invented by Sony in the 90s. V-Shaped mounting for batteries and nowdays used universally for all kind of equipment.

If this product is good quality - then from the way it looks - its preety much perfect for what I need. So only the 120W is RGB?
Do you get the full 120w power when using 14.8v V-Mount battery or does it get reduced?
I just bought it and the bi colored 120w can use 100% power with a v99 battery
@@JericTamayo How long do you manage to have the light going on a 99 battery?
Great video! Funny too. I would be interested in testing this out
Are you planning more powerful lamps from this series - 300W / 400W?
Nice couple of lights.
What is the name of that rectangular softbox behind. I need to add it to my cart but do not know the name.
Will this work with any V mount battery or does it have to be an Ulanzi branded V mount battery?
