- Nick and band in his last tour before switching to a more crooner oriented style. Fortunately rocking again somewhat these days with Los Straitjackets backing him

Saw him at a solo theatre show a few weeks ago. Mesmerising. No one like him IMO.
I agree… I think he is now better… I’ve seen him 3 times in the last couple years… and Los Straitjackets are a great fit for him.
Los Straitjackets me trajeron hasta aquí.
Heaps of praise for posting this. What a band. I don’t know about this ‘transition period’. Surely the great strength of Nick Lowe is he is always moving on, always relevant. I last saw him live with band in about 2014 and he rocked. Listen to his latest album, Indoor safari, and tell me he doesn’t rock even now.
Saw this dream tour for 2 nights. At The Bottleneck in Lawrence, KS and the next night in Kansas City. Couldn't believe it at the time and it's still hard to fathom such talent on one stage. God Bless Robert (Bobby) Trehem! ❤️
Saw this tour at the Tower in Philly. Great show.

TIGHT!
Nick in the transition period from 1994 until 2011 he could do no wrong, his golden age IMHO (And I saw Rockpile!)
Thanks for posting, Derek. I saw Nick last night with Los Straitjackets in Birmingham UK. Nick’s still cutting the mustard more than 50 years since I first saw him with Brinsley Schwarz at the Black Swan in Sheffield.
Very good . I didn"t know Woody Allen played guitar so good 😂😂
What a great performance. Thanks for posting!
thank you very much
I was SO into him at about that time. Good stuff.
Thanks so much for posting this!
Better and better
Super!
Please pay attention to Mr. Geraint Watkins on the keyboard. Giants still walk among us. Thank you.
His most solid backing band
Really?
Crooner oriented style? Never!
Style wise Nick the lounge singer came forth on Dig My Mood and the next couple of albums. Whether you like it or not is up to the listener, not saying it's good or bad
bad boy Bill Kirchen.....
Saw him play last year with his band..Michigan
In Michigan.. I should say
He’s playing here very soon doing a Christmas show and a very small bar in Grand Rapids, Michigan
