This is honestly her biggest performance ever. That night she was at the literal peak of her career - 1989 winning AOTY and she also had to take on one of her biggest vocal performances with all eyes on her. She even cried after this performance thinking she messed up but we can all agree that it was flawless! One of the proudest moments for us Swifties. Thank you for reacting to this!

this performance was my first exposure to Taylor Swift! i knew she was a "big deal", but i had no idea what to expect. to say that i was completely blown away would be a gross understatement. as i watched it live i knew that i was witnessing a truly epic performance.
Fun fact: Ellen DeGeneres said that this was her favorite song off 1989 when Taylor performed on her show.

This Taylor Swift performance is iconic!!! She sounded and looked stunning!!! Taylor was even so sad after the performance because she missed a high note and Selena was comforting her. And I remember seeing that thinking where? She should be so proud, everything about the performance was flawless. Taylena is literally the purest and sweetest friendship ever, supporting each other though everything. And I’m never tired of Taylor content the more the better, whoever said you do to much of it doesn’t have to watch.

It's amazing how good she is at performing and channeling her emotions through music. Without being a fan I thought she was kind of bratty or this super confident pretty girl but then I learned that she is super insecure and just works her ass off to make justice to her feelings and be her best self. I love Taylor, and a strong performance, but one of the greatest Grammy performances of all time? Not even close. You have Pink to contend with for "Glitter In The Air" and "Try," along with Michael Jackson, and a slew of other iconic performers. For Taylor, I would put her "All Too Well" Grammy performance before this one. That's when I first saw her, and thought "oh my God, what a writer."

I'm a little sad you missed out on Haylor fandom (basically all the music and drama about Harry and Taylor's music written about each other/their relationship. It was a fun time! When 1D's "Perfect" came out Taylor's OOTW performances got a lot more angry and intense haha. There's some music Harry wrote for other artists like Alex and Sierra, Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor etc that was about Taylor that very few people know about.
I don't know if you noticed but the guy in the guitar she interacts with at the beginning in Jack Antonoff, one of her main contributors, he's been writing and producing songs with her since the 1989 album, he did it at Reputation too and is the main producer in Lover. He's also co-producer and co-writer in Melodrama by Lorde and Norman Fucking Rockwell by Lana. He's just the best!

But lately Demi Lovato (please react to some of her performances) has become my second favorite singer of all time but I’m starting to really like Taylor Swift a lot also. I finally downloaded a lot of her songs on Spotify and I think she’s a fabulous life performer in her voice has gotten stronger over the last 10 years. At this performance here is one of my favorite live performances of any current artist and is my favorite live performance from her so far.
