Great progress in such a short time, you will end up with a better shop at the end, it is always harder refurbishing than building from new, you at least have all the skills for the makeover. Thank you for taking the time to keep us updated, plus the bonus video, the mini goblets would be a good exercise in using the ‘’dreaded’’ skew chisel. Stay well my friend, you have a nice country setting. Greetings from Tasmania Australia 👍😁🇦🇺🦘
You are making progress! Necessity is a great motivator! You didn't spend all of that time and energy learning to turn, to let this project get in your way. After all, anyone who has conquered the skew can do anything!
Great progress on the shop. I can only speak about me, but I comment to give encouragement and show my appreciation for you sharing your talent no need a comment back. The tiny challis are amazing. One day I hope I am that good. Wow. Keep up the amazing work. 👽
Good progress on the shop. Thanks for the update. And thanks for the turning video. Marvelous skill with the two skew chisels. It was facilitating to watch an expert turner use tools, I’m intimidated by, to make such a tiny work of art while making it look so easy. Looking forward to when you get your new shop set up so you can make some more great videos. Cheers, Tom
Thank you, great talent. I really appreciate your wonderful, very clear videos. Wish you the very best in the future, you make a lot of pleasure for many people. You deserve the best of every thing in the future. Best wishes Graham 😮
❤ The work you are doing!! My suggestion would be put more electrical outlets then you think you would need that is what I did and still do not have enough outlets. Looks like you have everything under control. God Bless you and your family.
Why, that's a good technique: making a morse taper and jamming it in there. Wish I had watched this back in June: my last project was a miniature phone, and it proved quite the challenge because I don't have a mini-chuck.
Nice, really happy that you are making progress, I figure you will be much happier in your own place. I live in South Africa and have a metal and wood lathes sharing our unventilated garage, and it gets over 40 degrees in there in the summer. The only solution I have to cool down is a big oscillating fan and the garage doors wide open. Doesn't really help because mostly it feels like the heat is coming in! So I work in shorts and an apron.
Tomislav, I am often complimented on my shop and I respond that I've been working on it for 50 years! I've moved shops at least 5 times! Every move I've had to make. I created a better organized and better working shop with all my new experience. I am still learning, so looking forward to watching your new dream develop. I live in Arizona, USA so I feel your pain with the heat, I recommend fans but not permanently mounted so that I can position them for the area I'm working in. I use them to push air out as well as pull air in. The other best thing in my present shop is I was able to move out to a small attached building the air compressor and dust collector. I've wired all the tools I could to 220V and replaced all lighting to LED fixtures. A well known you tube program called Worththeeffort gave you a big shout out so I had to check. I realized I'd been watching you with the fabulous four! I see you put out one more video about making it pretty! I got to see it!!
Thank you sir,I really appriciate your comment and suggestions,Your shop sounds like great inspiring place to work. Shawn from worth the effort is great
Oh my goodness to make something so small with tools that big - you’ve blown my mind!!!😮!!! Glad to see the roof looking so good though - thank you for showing us what’s happening in your life
Thanks for the update on your “new” shop. You sound very tired but I know you have a lot of work to ahead. Please be sure to get some rest when you can. The views around your community are beautiful!
It's great seeing the workshop coming along and seeing that view! I have seen a couple of other turners do the mini goblets as a turner's challenge, but you made it look so easy (which it is not!) Brilliant bonus turning,
Best of luck! At 77 years old and a caregiver for my wife with Parkinson’s disease I have been forced to move to be closer to my son and build a new shop. It has been much slower for me but I will get there. Watching with great respect.
Sorry to hear about your Wife sir, its not easy and you have my great respect sir.... Taking care of someone so close and moving the shop takes some super human power and again you have my respect
Tomislav, that goblet has to be the smallest turning I remember ever seeing. Really show cases what a master you have become. I'm excited for you for the progress you are making on your new shop.
You live in such a beautiful country. You must be so proud. That is probably why you have such a wonderful, calm nature. I love your uploads. Please don't ever stop.
You made good progress on the shop in just 2 days!! Advice: when running wiring for outlets, put in more than you think you will need and install them above waist high. A shop doesn't need outlets at knee height. Love those cute little goblets....for a child's dollhouse?
Great progress! Watching you turn the miniature goblets was amazing ….. your skill with a skew chisel is very impressive! You live in a very beautiful area 🤠🇨🇱
Beautiful view from your new location Tomislav. Thank-you for sharing the progress as you can; your highest priority is getting everything set up and going again, so the short videos are totally understandable. Those goblets are amazing the use of the skews to produce them is awe-inspiring. Prayers for you and your family as you continue to make this move.
Enjoying the shop updates. I am close to moving my shop and I'm watching your videos with great interest. And, those tiny goblets are amazing! Thank you for sharing.
Perseverance- secret to success in life. In my shop, which is also not air conditioned, I have a 10 x 10 foot room in one corner which is well insulated in which I do my turning/sharpening station. If I keep it closed during the heat of the day (35 - 40+ degrees C here in central USA), it stays comfortable enough (May get up to 30 C mid-afternoon) with a wall mounted fan to provide air circulation. Late afternoon it can get warmer. My uninsulated shop which is also a metal structure like yours, goes 40+ C throughout a good part of the day. Any work I do out there (table saw, bandsaw, etc) I do as quickly as possible or during the morning or evening when it cools down. The small insulated room is also easy to heat to 20+ C in winter with just an electric space heater. Works well enough for me. Wish I lived close by, I’d come over and give you a hand as I am retired. 😊 Keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll do well. God’s blessing to you.
Workshop is looking good, and glad to see someone else liked that little goblet like thing you turned before enough to commission some. Beautiful work.
Hi Tomislav, Thank you so much for taking us on your journey with you 👍 I am still setting my workshop up, so I'm really interested in seeing yours develop, and your thought process for the layout. As for the goblets; simply WOW!! I can only dream of being able to do that! Keep up the great work, my friend 👍
I think you will have a better shop when you move in to this new place. Looking forward to your videos from this building. Surrounding countryside looks nice and relaxing. All the best! Ken
You have done a lot of work in such a short time. I would struggle doing very much at all. I would be very lazy and would just be enjoying the beautiful view from the window. Love the small goblets.
Well done Tomislav! If I was living anywhere in the eastern side of the contenant I would come and join you. Thank you for bringing us on your journey with you .
So skillful! I remember your wonderful country that I visited when it was still Yugoslavia! That was more than 50 years ago. With your talent the shop will be better than the actual one. No need to answer! 😊
Hello Tomi, don't wait too long to seal your side wall where it meets he roof. Not because of water, or heat or cold, but because of bees...first thing you know there is a hidden bee nest in your shop that you did not see and the first day you start your major power tool there is an army of them attaquing you, beleive me , i know , and it is not fun...
Really a quick mover man! Might be fun to see some of the work you're doing on the shop as you're doing it. Your video of the goblet was like watching a magic show!! 😮
I love the location of the new workshop , what a beautiful village. You're really getting stuff done. Is there possibility for a window and a view of that valley?
Based on your previous video of a few days ago it sounds like this move was forced on you causing an increase in expenses (moving) and a loss of revenue (it’s hard to produce product when you are spending your time and energy getting the new shop ready). Offering you well deserved praise is all well and good but finding a way to help you cope with the financial double whammy seems like a better thing for those of us that appreciate (love) your videos to do. If you post a page somewhere I will be happy to pre order (and more importantly) prepay for your new signature scraper. I suspect there are a lot of others who will be willing to do the same. Make the arrangements and tell us where we can sign up and I’ll be the first in line to Venmo or PayPal you the pre-payment. You are doing great work and giving a positive presentation on how to deal with a very difficult situation. I hope everyone in your audience will join me in wishing you well and supporting you during this difficult time. I’m looking forward to watching your progress and purchasing your signature tools as soon as possible.
Thank you sir for this , I don't like up front anything, my brain doesn't like that and I can't sleep thinking I own someone something.... I'm weird😄. That being said I'll have to do something like preorder for first batch of tools to get the motion going but first shop is priority and then I'll focus everything on tools
It is coming along well.
When you said 'Tiny Goblet' - I didn't expect THAT tiny.....
Brilliant
Shop looks like you're making good progress. Good luck to you. Thank you for all the turning videos. I've really learned a lot from you.

You're working hard, my friend. Great little turning.
You are making progress! Necessity is a great motivator! You didn't spend all of that time and energy learning to turn, to let this project get in your way. After all, anyone who has conquered the skew can do anything!
You live in a beautiful country, and I respect your talent and perseverance !
WOW!!. Those mini-Goblets are very impressive. And you are making some nice progress on the new shop.
Glad to see you are making progress on the new shop. You live in a beautiful location.
Enjoying the shop renovation. Great tiny goblet.
Great progress on the shop. I can only speak about me, but I comment to give encouragement and show my appreciation for you sharing your talent no need a comment back. The tiny challis are amazing. One day I hope I am that good. Wow. Keep up the amazing work. 👽
Show off! 😂 Your shop is coming along nicely, Tomislav, you will be in it in next to no time at all, mate. Cheers
Congratulations!! Looks like you're well on you're way. Awesome place, and beautiful country
Great progress and the micro goblets are unbeleivable with big tools like that

I know you are happy with the progress on the shop, Tomi. Amazing skew work on the micro goblet!
Thank you Mike
You have an amazing mastery of the skew!
Love the miniatures. The shop is starting to look better. Good luck with the rest.
❤
I hope you take time to celebrate when you are moved in!
Such talent
