i started by bingeing all his videos without playing the game, but then i ran out of videos and now i have over 1k hours in trackmania. the TM addiction pipeline is real
I'm the opposite lol. When I started watching I was already a trackmania player, but I've since stopped because I don't have enough time to play to pay for full access, and the free access is garbage now.

aha, this takes me back. in the early 2000s i made a map for serious sam that was basically like this. a small spherical planet (well, it was larger than this, i guess) with radial gravity and a ton of monsters. it was super fun rocket-jumping into literal orbit around the planet and raining chaos from above on the unsuspecting monsters. except there weren't at all unsuspecting and often destroyed you, or worse, knocked you off your orbit!
you could be captured by the moon's gravity and get stuck there! then it would get really difficult to fight back against stuff 90 degrees above you

Watching this live on Sami's stream, I was wondering why Wirts were failing the 4 car map so much when it looked so straight forward... Well, now I know, he wasted his time with cutting attempts instead of just using snow car.
Love the bonk cup content but I do also really like the chat bonk cup has in the bottom left. Having your inputs covering them keeps me from seeing the communal struggle 😂

I enjoy watching you learn from these bonk cups, considering you already know the game so well and yet there is more to learn. Todays learnings, snow car = climb fast; don't tilt =D
I think there might be a bit of a shortcut on that first map. For the part of the map that's on the top of the ball, you don't fall off if you drive on the green, and it looks like you could cut the first corner and get back to the track a bit before the first checkpoint.
