Sakura was a popular member of the biggest girl group in Japan and became known worldwide in Iz*one. She could've just walked back to Japan to live an easy life as a celebrity, it wouldn't be hard for her to be on the cover of magazines or be endorsed by brands. Yet she choose to walk back to Korea, become a trainee again, improve her skills and debut again. Her humility and resilience are out of this world! MUCH RESPECT

I didn't follow iz*one when they were active. I kept hearing about Sakura because of the rumours Hybe wanted to recruit her. After watching his documentary, I understand why so many people love her. She's definitely talented and pretty, but you can tell she has true humility and resilience. It may have come with age and experience in the industry, but le sserafim is lucky to have her as their oldest member because she seems to be this pillar of balance and integrity.

Actually, AKB has been going down in Japan for years. It was not invited by NHK for the Kouhaku Uta Gassen for three years in a row. It was more like she ecsaped the sinking ship. Of course, it was possible due to her fame and efforts.

People need to understand that even though Kkura has been an idol for 10 years, it wasn't until she joined Hybe that she started receiving actual vocal training. 48Group members are not trained, and both Chaewon and Sakura said that they received no training in IZ*ONE either. Let her improve now that she actually has the training to do so instead of degrading her.

If they want to receives any training they would have to search and paid it themselves and since Sakura was one of the most active member in terms of activities on top of school since she debuted it was hard for her to improves systemically.
And they have to learn tons of song choreography(main single, album, theater) which they are in low difficulty in terms of technique so her dance skill suffered too.

The fans are excited cause that means she's getting ready to redebut but at the same time we're worried and anxious... what if she doesn't come back to us anymore? What if she doesn't redebut? HYBE wasn't letting any news out at all or even let her update her socials. I know it was hard, for us fans and for her as well but I'm glad she's back, I'm glad she persevered. She didn't get any training in Japanese idol groups nor did she or anyone in Izone get proper training when they debuted in Iz*one. However, Sakura, instead of quitting or crying, worked hard to improve. Her improvement was visible in latter songs of Iz*one like Secret story of Swan, fiesta etc. And now that she's in Hybe and getting trained, she's shining!!!💖

They have all the relevant infrastructure and personnel in place, from instructors, producers, managers to counsellors and health specialists even. All these faceless, nameless people grind behind the scenes to make all the hybe label groups we see now, successful, including the artist themselves of course. Their success is definitely not by luck or due to the benign presence of their monumental predecessors. Other big kpop companies may have this too, idk. I gotta really give props to Kazuha, she wasn't gunning for this. She got scouted and isn't a singer and was just doing ballet, on top of not being able to speak Korean at the time. To just change direction from what she was doing is so brave and really makes me want to know what made her decide to take that leap. Watching their dance practice, all I can think is 'wow that's a lot of hair flying all over the place, surprise no one lost an eye.'😆

At a boring job you still get told off for making a typo or saying the wrong thing etc - so honestly I'm so glad for these girls because look what amazing things their efforts create compared to some of us lol

This is not 12 hours though. They are at the offices from 9:30 AM until dawn (3, 4 AM). It's more like 16-18 hour workdays, and I'm betting they are working weekends, too. They are working so much that all they have time is to go home and sleep for a few hours before they have to get up, get ready (wash hair daily, for example, do skincare because they always have to be pretty, do makeup) and be back.
I don't disagree with the general sentiment, I would also be willing to work more for something I truly love. But this is not just 120%, this is more than 200%. And as you could see in part 1, you might not even make it at the end of all this work. They might drop you from one day to another, like they dropped Rika.

The only reason Hybe is big is because BTS put in that same work and made it a billionaire company, they were different from so many other groups because of their hard work and willingness to never give up. Hybe is going to instill that in all their groups and you can really see it in TXT New Jeans and Enhypen. Those members also had a rough time training and if you weren’t giving your 110% youre out. Hybe is the one company that doesn’t care if you’re a visual, if you can’t sing and dance bye

Sakura's determination is what makes me proud of her, but at the same time Yunjin's perseverance is exceptional. Where Sakura made it many times in AKB and HKT and Produce 48 then Izone, Yunjin never made it once!!! We have 2 women who are on the opposite spectrum in terms of success. Sakura is humble she has debuted 3x and said that Le Sserafim is the last group she will debut with, she understands she is lacking in skills and determined to reach her goals. Yunjin has always been skillful but she has been very unlucky that people have criticized her as not being appealing enough, or she is too greedy. She was rejected, turned down, and ultimately let go by her company. Where one woman (sakura) was highly sought by HYBE after the disbandment, Yunjin was one plane ticket ride away from going back to US. You couldn't have 2 women who are on the opposite spectrum of their careers than these two!!! But somehow HYBE made it work, the two are friends, who encourage each other. The idol industry is very harsh, very cut throat, if you don't fit the image the company wants, if you don't have the IT factor, all your training won't amount to anything, so many doors close on you, and age is a huge factor. I really support Le Sserafim because they are so complex and strong to be where they are.
