Vitznau, Switzerland 4K - A magical Swiss village on Lake Lucerne

Join us in a walking tour in Vitznau, aan amazing village that lies in an idyllic bay of Lake Lucerne at the foot of the Rigi. It occupies a narrow strip between the lake and the Rigi looming behind; one of the mountain railways to the summit starts in Vitznau. This holiday resort in central Switzerland is a popular starting point for numerous excursions around the lake, primarily and naturally, up the famous regional mountain.
Vitznau was first mentioned in 998. In the 19th century, it became a popular destination for tourism, especially from England; the imposing Park Hotel Vitznau west of the town dates from the 1900s. The hotel impresses with its dreamy location right on the banks of Lake Lucerne, complete with magnificent panoramic views and luxury service.

Thank you for another beautiful walking tour from Switzerland.The smaller towns have so much to offer to the traveller who enjoys nature and quiet peacefulness. I have a feeling that the giant Swiss flag on the cliff must make everyone happy and proud to live in the best country in the world.

The charm of Switzerland is that it combines magnificent mountain scenery with beautiful lakes. I wonder why God gave Switzerland most of the big and beautiful lakes in Europe haha. I enjoyed watching it. thank you
