    Where I live there is literally no clouds for the majority of the summer so it gets quite bright but I want a lens which is versatile, do the Road Black lenses get 'too dark' for stuff like slight overcasts, underpasses or morning to noon rides?

      Greetings! If your runs begin early morning then a lens with a higher VLT (Visible Light Transmission) percentage will benefit you more as it lets more light pass through the lens which helps in low light environments. The Prizm Road will accommodate more of this type of lighting condition with a 20% VLT compared to the 13% of the Jade. 🏃‍♀️

    Technical question, so with a Prizm lens you don't need polarized? I've already ordered a matte black/prizm black Gascan (non polarized).
    Also if a lens is Prizm is it Iridium by default or does it have to say Iridium.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there! Polarized lenses reduce glare from the sun and Prizm is Oakleys lens technology that fine-tunes vision for specific environments so it would depend on what you will be using the glasses for. Also, all Prizm are Iridium as well.

The Prizm Road Black does share some similarities with the Prizm Field (designed specifically for baseball) in terms of base tint color and contrast enhancement, but may also prove too dark with a VLT of 11%. That said, if you're particularly sensitive to bright light, you may find it beneficial especially in very bright environments.
