From 1999, BBC World come up on BBC television centre and it blew up with bricks for real and BBC one couldn't cast that television centre anymore also with the news twenty-four shutted down.
Countdown Concert Mix 1 was the actual track used here to play out TVC, there was two versions from 2013, there similar News Suite versions not quite the same, followed here by the Headline Vamp and BBC News Titles Ten Secs at NBH from 2013.
@David Limonka The explosion shot was from an episode of The Goodies. the model used was actually a four-by-two feet photographic enlargement mounted on hardboard. Another enlargement with a smaller section of the same photograph was cut out and mounted on hardboard in front of the larger section of photograph. A small explosive was placed in between the two photo enlargements and one in front of the small front photo. We then they are detonated, it appears the whop;e building is destroyed. Also Fuller's Earth is mixed in amongst fake rubble and dropped into the model at the correct time.
That clip was from a Christmas special where TVC got destroyed afaik, so just Sfx. Perhaps ironically the front of the building did get damaged in an IRA bomb many years later
